"Stayed here for two nights. 3/5/24-3/6/24. The remote for the tv wasn’t working right off the jump. I let the hotel attendant respectfully know that it wasn’t working. She responded and said that she was the only staff member on duty and there was nothing that could be done about it that night, but she was let maintenance know the check it out during the day the next day. Well maintenance didn’t come at all throughout the whole day. I called down there to let them know and explain my situation and she was nothing but rude and cut me off every time I would try and talk. Didn’t offer anything. Just nothing but blatant disrespect. And it was the same hotel attendant from the previous night too. I highly recommend staying at a Hilton garden inn or somewhere else. Worst Hilton experience that I’ve had since staying at Hilton hotels since I can remember. Terrible terrible terrible"

"OK, it's Midland and it's and it is a "budget" hotel. That being said it's decent. It's a remodeled Motel 6 or something like that. Most everything is new in the hotel but it is kinda cheap looking. The bed was comfortable though. Lots of electronics chargers in the room. All the furnishing were cheap looking. There is a lot of empty space in the rooms because you don't want to pay for a comfy chair or pictures do you? There is no pool so forget that. You won't get an ice bucket, microwave, or coffeemaker. You won't get anything more than bagels for breakfast. BUT the bed was comfy, the AC worked, and the shower worked, and it wasn't $200 a night for the Hilton Garden Inn. It's next to a shopping mall with a great Mexican food joint. I ate there for dinner and got some burritos to go for breakfast. Heated them up in the lobby microwave in the morning. I was there on business so it was fine and I didn't have to go through the traffic at the main intersection just down the road."

"Stayed here instead of another Hilton given the new brand name. This is a renovated Super 8. ALL Spark hotels are renovated from other brands. None are new builds. The room was clean and had new furniture. You can tell the build quality is cheap- something to watch as this place ages. There is no pool at this hotel- no clue why the photos show one. Apparently this hotel reopened earlier this month. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The “bagel bar” as Hilton describes it is 3 types of bagels set out (all the ones were stale/hard as a rock during our stay) and regular, low fat, and strawberry cream cheese. My advice given the price and quality of this hotel is to spend the extra $10 and stay at a Hampton Inn. I personally will avoid this brand in the future."

"I am EXTREMELY picky about the locations I stay in. So I looked FOREVER for a hotel with good reviews. This hotel had no reviews & so I called & to my surprise they had just opened up! JACKPOT!! I stayed here 2 nights. December 12 & 13th. They had only been open for 4 days. Now I don't know if this was brand new built or if it was just remodeled and taken over by new owners. I don't live in Midland so no idea to the area. But it was sooooooooooooooo clean! There were some fixtures that were worn like elevator buttons, other parts of the hotel that didn't look new to me & the bathtub had a few elements that didn't look new but they were super clean. CONS: - Incidental fee was added on during check-in. I was not aware until arriving but it goes back on your card after. - The breakfast was non-existent when I went. Only bagels & coffee. - Wheel chair accessible on the side of the building was no where. I didn't have a wheel chair but I had heavy equipment with wheels so it made it challenging to get to my vehicle. - $3.00 to wash a load of laundry, $3.00 to dry. But I mean if your desperate do what you gotta do. - No business Center - TRAFFIC can be bad if you go right when leaving. If you are not going during business hours it's not bad but if you go during business hours, take the route you came in on. It will get you to all the good locations with a GPS. Or if you do turn right during high traffic times then turn into walmart to bypass the heavy traffic. You'll be stuck for eternity in traffic if you don't. PROS: - Down the street from the Horsehoe Arena - The hotel may not have had breakfast but you walk 200 feet and your in the front door to IHOP. It's is literally in front of the hotel. - CLEANLINESS is by far the biggest factor for me. I love me some new & clean. - 3-5 minute drive to all the things walmart, dollar tree, verizon, restaurants. You can also walk to these places because it is truly not that far. But I am not about that life. It was too cold & I was too tired. - Great little Gym Area - Laundry area - Refill station for water bottles - Plenty and I mean plenty of USB & plug outlets in the room. On both sides of the beds, by the TV, near the desk area & they work. - Side of building may not be handicap accessible but the front of the building is. A tad further walk but no biggie. - You walk in, little hooks to hang your jackets, hats, purses. How cute! OVERALL It was a great stay and glad that I chose this place. I will stay here again. I would say if you are looking into reviews before any stay, then stay here before this hotel gets all worn in like most we visit."
