"Love Dee she is amazing person and me and JD are happy she's here! Been waiting 4 year for our glass door to be fixed and it's finally gonna be fixed. Couldn't ask for a better apartment manager and maintenance! Appreciate everything they do for all of us here!"
"My family lost our family home in a house fire a little over a year ago. Myself and wife, my daughter and my son ALL got separate units at the same time. 3 apartments- 3 leases. While here, management changed from the original property manager that was here to sign our leases. The difference from her to DEE who is now the head lady in charge is BEYOND DIFFERENT! Dee is attentive and goes out of her way to help you when it’s needed. Zac- the maintenance man has NEVER not shown up when I’ve called for something. They throw really cool holiday party’s to unite the complex and all of its tenants and simply try harder today than they did yesterday to make this place warm and to make it a HOME for those of us that live here. Although it may have been a little rough with old management….I wouldn’t move for nothing now. This place went from a low 5 to a HIGH 10 in a matter of months. Give High Park a chance- you won’t be disappointed."
"So.....as I look at the reviews above amd see all of the negaitive talk...let me just say this: Your property is only worth the property manager in charge....with that being said---- I have been here for over a year. In that time, High Park has come under new management. With that happening...the changes in this place are ASTOUNDING. I see more done in even just the last few months than I EVER did with the last property manager. Dee is the new lady and when it comes to getting things done....she is ON IT. I have NEVER had an issue with mantenance. I call...they come. I have never had an issue with billing and if I do, I am sure Dee will walk me thru whats going on and how we can get to where we need to be. I can certainly understande the issues BEFORE the new managment....but if we are all being fair over here, we have to say that this place is coming up and things are much much better. Dee has went ABOVE and beyond for MANY of us to try and help in ways she doesn't really have to do. She deserves her review to be a fair and an honest one. If you are looking for a place to live....give High Park a chance. It's well worth the look. You won't find a better property manager, I can assure you of this. ❤"
"Save all of your documents. I moved out on October 21,2021. 2 years later I get a letter saying I owe them a months rent plus late charge cause I didn't move out until November 17. 2021. I had a statement from their property manager his name was Mike that stated I turned in my keys on October 21. 2021 and I didn't owe them anything. They said he was no longer with the company and they don't have to honor it since a former employee had lost all of their records and the book keeping was shoddy while he was working there. My daughter had rented a apartment from them too and moved out a week after I did. 2 years later she get a letter saying she owed them 669.00. She saves everything like I do so she took her lease over there to show them that she paid a 1099.00 deposit and that they owed her. They told her the samething they told me. The previous property manager lost the records and his book keeping was shoddy. They are only going to go by what is in their computer. She looked up my daughters name and it showed that the deposit she paid was 1099.00. She told my daughter to pay them what they claim she owed then they would talk to her about her money but they would never cut her a check for what they owe her. I don't see them ever taking us to court cause the judge would look at our paperwork and dismiss it but they did put it on our credit reports. We are thinking about posting everything to the New Albany page on Facebook so the public can see everything and hopefully a lawyer will want to help out. I've had landlords to make a mistake before but anytime I showed them my paperwork the problem was corrected. I have never had one to behave in the way they have. Once we showed proof that they had made a mistake it should have ended and never been submitted to a collection agency. They have been saying they are under new management since they bought the place and that things are going to get better, it hasn't happened yet after 5 years. Save your documents because I'm sure this is normal for them, they wait 2 years hoping you have lost or misplaced your records and have no way to prove them wrong. Do better High Park be honest and stop the shady business practices. If the owner actually reads this I can send copies of our documents to you to prove everything I just stated. I don't owe your company a single dime. Your company actually owe me and my daughter our deposits. If you ask to see them hopefully afterwards you discipline your employees."
