The Pepin Mansion Historic Bed & Breakfast

"We came here to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We stayed in the Culbertson suite. It was a nice room, very big with high ceilings. The bathroom has French doors that open onto a small balcony that overlooks the Culbertson mansion and the railroad and river can be seen in the distance from the window. The stairwell to tower is just outside the room. The tower is a great place to view sunrises and sunsets. You can also just sit and watch town life. This place is like stepping back almost 200 years. Really neat. Ron, the owner met with us and gave us a tour of the building and some history of the building and New Albany. There are many shops and restaurants around for lots to do. The light breakfast was good and it’s always fun to meet new people at the community breakfast table."

"In one word… exquisite! My wife and I held our wedding and reception at The Pepin Mansion and was thoroughly impressed by the beauty and charm of the mansion itself but was even more astonished at the staff. Ron, the owner was the utmost accommodating and our wedding coordinator Janna knocked it right out of the park. Janna and her staff made sure that our entire wedding party enjoyed our special day and had everything we needed. All we had to do was show up and the rest was magic. Our bridal party stayed the night in the mansion and just when we thought it couldn’t have been any better, Taylor, the young lady that cooked breakfast for all of us, knocked our socks off when her cooking. My wife and I have already booked an over night stay in December and can’t wait to experience the wonderful hospitality once again. Hats off for the Pepin."

"We were able to secure the mansion last minute as our prior venue was not responding to our needs. Janna swooped in and took care of so much for us. Denise which did our officiatnt helped us as well and everything was perfect. We ended our night dancing under the stars and I cannot thank the Pepin enough for their venue, staff and caterers. We will be back for our one year anniversary !!!!"

"We had our wedding reception at this venue this past Saturday with 160 of our closest family and friends. We cannot say enough about Janna and her team. Everything was organized and all set up beautifully before the event. Also, Ryan and his bartender crew kept the drinks flowing. The Pepin Mansion worked very well with our florist and caterer. We used all four bedrooms for us and our out of town guests. Each room was very authentic to the mansion. We were very pleased with the outcome."

"Our first time staying in a B&B, our room was beautiful. The bed was very noisy if you moved at all. And the shower line near the faucet looked like it needed cleaned better or replaced. The service was great and I was very happy they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. For dinner, we were able to take a walk to a great restaurant nearby. They did have a guest refrigerator for food and leftovers but didn't have anything I could hear my food on. I couldn't use the container as it was foam."
