"New landlord that really seems to care. They try to work with you as best they can. Maintenance is very nice and friendly. They have a pool open in the summer time. Cons: I have to open my fridge in order to open the dishwasher. Some things need updated in my apartment. The ceilings leak from the bathroom. They took the outside furniture out of the gazebo and I liked being able to sit up there and relax. Some of the other tenants complain about silly things, such as the kids playing outside, they are kids and thats what they do. They should be allowed to play outside during the day as long as they know the rules and aren't saying bad words. The parents should make sure they are following the rules and not breaking things."
"This apartment community is terrible. They had LifeSpring program that were for people on Mental health drug program... You name it. They evicted me during COVID-19, in which was unlawful. I was paying market price $800.00 and not on the program. My unit 56 was one of the last to be renovated. I completed my 12 month lease and still kicked me out during COVID-19. It was called King David before they changed the name to The MONROE. Shame on them. I can see if I couldn't pay my rent within 6 months of the lease. All this property complex cares about is the money and they really like if your are a minority and discriminate to kick you out during COVID-19. Don't rent from them. Money hungry property management. GREED is a TERRIBLE thing to do to people."
"I have lived here for 2 years and I have never heard of thefts. 20 days ago, my bicycle was stolen from the back. I filed a complaint and nothing has been done about it, not even a Release has been sent."
"False pronation. When I moved into my apartment it was suppose to be newly renovated. It was not. I’ve had black moved all in the bottom of my downstairs for 7 months, it’s began growing on my upstairs ceiling in the bathroom, I have server leakage issues from my upstairs bathroom down to my kitchen, and my breaker box is so old that it trip’s constantly and I’ve been going on two months without air. For this reason I’ll be calling the health department once again. They expect me to pay their outrageous rent when the apartment itself isn’t even kept up properly by the management/company on their end."
"The worst apartments I’ve lived in yet. They’re continuously adding random charges to the monthly bill each month, highly infested with roaches & rodents in certain buildings, management is never constant/stable. I had active growing mold in the lower area of my apartment and for 6-7 months - nothing was done about it until the health department was called. When you can actually speak to management they can be snotty as all get out for no reason. It takes forever for maintance repairs to be completed - that’s even with them being staffed with help when they have it.I do not recommend renting here. The price they want just doesn’t line up with how to apartment looks, is cared for, and much more."
