"One of the worst experiences that I've had dealing with a supplier. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this experience was so bad and the person so condescending and disdainful, that with other options out there, I think other builders, remodelers and roofers need to know that good customer service should be at the forefront of any business, and that you don't have to settle for this company, when there are other choices. After having not purchased from RSI for a couple of years, my foreman stopped by around 4:00 PM to place about a $5k order. He called me to make payment and I was told by the salesman that they have no option whatsoever to take payment over the phone or online, and that I would have to physically drive down to their location and bring my credit card, or speak with the credit manager, fill out a form, but that he was gone for the day and to call back at 7 am. I was out of town on another job, so driving down there was not an option. I did as requested and called back at 7 am to speak to their credit manager, Brian Takaki, who informed me that they had no such form and that I had to come down there in person and swipe my credit card, and that there was simply no other option to pay. When I suggested to him that this was 2022 and that e-commerce was actually a THING, and that his own company had just finished telling me in a radio dj's voice with their on-hold music about how they were a helpful family friendly company, he began to lecture me on fraud and tell me I should go shop with one of his competitors, who would also SURELY not be accommodating. Aside from the fact that I don't appreciate being categorized as someone who would commit fraud, the fact that a company offers zero options to pay and makes it as inconvenient as possible for their customers, doesn't even make sense in modern times. In a world where 90+% of all transactions are online, how does this even make sense? This is not good, old-fashioned customer service; in fact this is nothing but the WORST kind of service in an industry that is very competitive. If I treated any of my clients that way, I would not have them as clients, which is precisely what RSI and specifically, their "credit manager" Brian Takaki did today. After hanging up, I did call a competitor - the young lady that answered the phone was friendly, helpful, happy to fill the same order and had no problem sending me the form that Brian refused and taking my payment so that my guys could get to work. RSI has lost my business permanently thanks to Brian, and I would recommend that others investigate some of RSI's competitors as I did today, where I encountered the complete opposite type of service - one that was customer service oriented and appreciative of the business."

"This company is doing a job on my neighbors house and I walked outside at 7 o'clock in the morning and their driver has completely blocked my driveway from me going to work. And it's 7 o'clock in the morning and they're not even doing my roof it's my neighbors that's giving done very unprofessional to block other resident's driveway especially at 7 o'clock in the morning would not recommend this company"
