"As a former resident: While the 1-bedroom apartment offers some amenities, the monthly cost seems disproportionately high considering the overall value. The features provided don't justify the steep price, making it challenging to see the rental as a worthwhile investment."
"Management is very disorganized, I DROVE all the way from California and I told them months in advanced about my move out. Once I arrived to The District, my apartment was not ready due to infestation. I had to stay in the model unit. I was given another apt and it had no AC, the place reeked of cigarette smoke, and it was infested with roaches. I would wake up very nauseous and light headed due to the second hand stench of cigarettes. Very hazardous. The audacity of receiving an email charging me more then what we had discussed when breaking the lease. I asked for proof of documentation and they never responded to my email. How professional. I was only able to live there for 3 weeks. I had the worst experience ever for my first apartment. I would NOT recommend moving there."
"The pictures speak for themselves. I am writing this for the sole purpose of preventing people from being in the same boat I was in. It was my first solo apartment out of college, and it was an awful experience. “Newly renovated” but I had issues constantly. I was patient through it all, but my breaking point was when a roach crawled on me in my sleep. I never went back and after months of trusting pest control would get it under control, I finally broke my lease. The office and maintenance were always nice (minus the time I was labeled with a “bug phobia” when I would say not wanting to live with roaches is a normal human reaction). Would not recommend living here."
"Let me start by saying it is never clean. parking lot is littered and no one cleans it fast enough, the hallways are littered and only get cleaned like once every 6 months, if that. Spiders and bugs and cobwebs all over the stairwell and hallways because these lazy people don't clean anything. The laundry facility is always a mess as well. They have no problem raising the rent, but apparently they do have a problem with finishing renovations and cleaning. They tore up the floor in the hallway of my building, and still haven't finished it after a year. Ill add some pictures of the stairwell. Been like this for a year-ish. This is an edited review. I initially posted over a year ago, but 1 star is more than this place deserves even still."
"This place has been the worst place I have ever lived. When we first moved in we did not know we wouldn’t have ac till the day before we moved in This was in the middle of July. They provided us with one small ac that went through the window we had to sleep in the living room, we finally got ac after two weeks and I was 6 months pregnant. The hallway floors were being redone and took months to be finished. The floors were nasty constantly. On new year’s eve we got a leak coming from our ceiling from a water heater that broke two floors above. Someone quickly came to check but we lived with a black trash bag over a hole they created in the ceiling for about 3 weeks. A week before i gave birth i went to the office and asked them to fix it before the baby arrived no one came. It wasn’t until the day I was released from the hospital they decided to call someone out to fix it because my husband went there and had a “talk” with one of the leasing peoplex i couldn’t return home until finished because of my newborn and the chemical smells from the product they used to fix the hole in our ceiling. The office manager is mean and rude to their tenets. I moved out at the end of July and just received my refund check today in september. I called every week to ask about an update on this check and I would have to call about 5 times before they would answer. Then when i got an answer no one that knew anything about my question so they would take my name and. number for someone to call me and never call me back. Also when we moved out we found mold behind our sons crib from the amount of moisture in the apartment from the sealing on the window that was not good. The laundry unit was an absolute wreck with leaks in the ceiling and the ceiling falling out and only working about half the time. With almost everyone in the apartment complex using the one unit because their buildings laundry unit was “out of order “. We had a pool that was out of order too when we moved in in July 2022 and a year later in July 2023 it was still was out of order and being redone. Also the water is constantly being “worked on” they would turn water off about every other week and say it would be back on in a couple of hours and would eventually end up being 5-6 hours . It’s cheap but not worth the hassle or the health problems that come along with the apartment"
