Berry Hill Place

"Everything has gone very smoothly. Except had to turn in work order for air and the very nice lady said she would do an emergency one,and I told her because it was on the weekend. I told her not to because it was going to be cool again and Monday would be fine. Everyone of the neighbors that we came in contact with have been very friendly and greeted us with nothing but kindness. We love our apartment. 5/29/2022 I was sent a bill for power bill through third party billing that was an error. Due to no fault of mine. I have requested 3 times that the balance be removed and it has not. It seems only the manager can do this, very slow at handling billing issues. 8/8/2023 We have another new manager, still very slow in seeing that the maintenance is done in a timely manner. I put in a request for my smoke alarm on 7/27/2023 it is still beeping. This comes after an email that they were coming around to do an inspection of all apartment's smoke alarms. I sure hope there is no fire before they get around to replacing my battery."

"The light on the building 7912, next to my building 7906,outside light is out and I asked it be fixed as it lights up my walkway and entrance to my front door. I am now receiving emails that it was fixed and it has not been fixed! I checked it last night and it is still out. So why am I received emails that it was fixed? 2/7/23 I'm new to Berry Hill for 2 months so overall pleased. Just a couple of things I would like to see. One, my screens on the porch have several holes in them that need to be repaired or replaced. And I really need a safety hand rail on my shower in the master bath. Could anything be done about the rust stains in the bathroom sinks or the kitchen cabinets updated? It is a pleasant place to live, quiet and clean."

"On 8/2/2022 it stormed and I had the roof to leak. I called the emergency number and they were going to send a contractor the next day. I called the property manager later on 8/3 and finally she told me "Let me call the contractor and find out when he can come". Water was leaking through the light in the dining room. The manager seemed unconcerned. I submitted a help request on 8/11/2022 and maintenance cancelled the ticket and the work had not even been done. It was not closed, but cancelled. Berry Hill was a great place to live, but in the last 3 or 4 weeks it has really changed. And not for the better. It takes forever to get maintenance to work on any problems you may have I submitted a service request on 8/19/2022 because my fire alarm was beeping every 1 or 2 minutes. Maintenance came Tuesday to check. You would think that it being a fire alarm maintenance would check to make sure everything was ok. The property manager really doesn't seem to care and maintenance doesn't care if the service requests gets done or not. I am rating them 3 because of maintenance. Berryhill is a great place to live and the residents are fantastic. Maintenance is not so good though. I put in a service request Monday Nov 7 concerning my microwave. It is not a major help request, but at least you would think he would at least look at the handle on the microwave. The times I have stopped by the office, he is on the phone usually. You never see him around the complex. Where I work, my boss would not put up with me on my iphone and not working. I would recommend Berryhill. Hopefully you won't have too many problems. Even though the service request was for 7918B Place, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the employees of Foshee that worked so hard in cleaning up Berryhill. They were awesome!! They worked hard and are still working hard to get Berryhill back to normal. Thank you again for all your hard work. Also I would like to thank the person who cleaned up around the dumpsters. It looks great!!"

"We enjoy living here. Maintenance issues are usually fixed pretty quickly. Val the office manager is phenomenal when she discovered no one had checked on us about fixing our air in the summer she made sure it happened even on a Sunday, by Monday morning is was repaired. Always clean and quiet"

"Horrible experience with Maintenance. Called the office, AND submitted a service request via Active Building all during office hours. It's now been 2.5 hours and Maintenance is a no-show. I have a leak in my air return that has soaked my carpet in the hall, and 1 bedroom. Maintenance instead called the carpet cleaners out to vacuum up the water prior to fixing the leak. Who does that?? I informed the carpet guy not to bother as the leak wasnt fixed yet, and he called the maintenance guy, and the guy told him to come back and tell me that he said to vacuum it up because he said so. Huh??? Also, went in the office one day last week to voice my concern about the lawn crew, and the new manager didnt even bother to get up from her desk and come introduce herself."
