"The room was clean. No mini fridge, but that was ok. We requested a corner room on the 8th floor but were given a non-corner room on the 5th. It's a small thing, but made a special occasion trip less special. We're diamond members, and we were offered the choice to pick our room, but our obviously our request wasn't honored."

"READ THE REVIEWS!!.... NOTHING has changed in Room 404. Clean? yes. Outdated? YES!!! No mini frig, no microwave, shower is terrible, hole in wall, chipped paint on windows, microbial growth on shower ceiling, the toilet tissue holder is 3.5' from the toilet (better have a long reach span), closet door does not latch so the beautiful mirrored door leans open which is a constant nuisance, watch out for the too large mattress frame.... it will leave a mark! The location is great and the staff is wonderful... everyone from valet to front desk is very nice and welcoming. The price is WAY OVER what this room is worth. Needs some TLC and more USB plugs."

"I was excited to stay at this property because of the location; however, I wish I would have stayed at the Embassy Suites around the corner like I typically do. This property is extremely outdated. One of the elevators doesn’t work, but for some reason, the staff did not turn it off, so it took forever to call the elevator that worked. My room was on the 9th floor, so it became an issue. My closet door was rigged with duck tape. The bathroom wall had holes. There was barely any water pressure. The curtains were broken at the top, so they wouldn’t close completely. The worst part was that there was only one option for parking on premises, and it was $29/night valet. As a diamond member, I was super disappointed. I’ll definitely never stay there again & don’t recommend it. Especially at the rates they charge."

"I will say for a Hylton this hotel is very outdated and nasty. The service and staff are very helpful and friendly but for the price this was unacceptable. Our room was nasty, the sofa bed was disgusting and nasty, and the pictures will show just how much this hotel needs a makeover and more dependable cleaning staff. We had to travel last minute due to my father’s death and we really didn’t have time to find another hotel. I’ve emailed corporate and hope they fix things for future guests. Not what we expected at all"

"Pretty run down, dated hotel. Smelled like weed in the elevator and hallways. Carpets need a deep cleaning. Kinda quaint, but not well maintained. Breakfast area was cramped up a tight. Sketchy location and strange people walking around. Have to valet or park across street in garage, which was a little sketchy. Probably won't stay here again"
