"Scott is phenomenal! Really appreciate all of his hard work."
"I didn’t want to rate the service, because I know it is better than what we received. To answer your question. The problem has not been resolved. My wife sent a request last week informing you of the on going heating problem and I sent a message with it expressing my concerns. We though the heat had been fixed, but a day later, on the coldest week of the year it wasn’t. We are now concern about how long we have to deal with this problem. It’s been months now."
"What I thought of living in the lofts: (1) Unbelievably noisy. Not because I had noisy neighbors, but because there is no insulation in the walls. I could hear normal conversations on either side of my apartment. My first month was difficult because I had to adjust to the clear sound of persons walking up stairs that I often mistook as someone in my apartment. (2) Unsanitary. The final straw for me was finding mouse droppings in my room almost once a day. Although the staff sent out pest control, it didn't resolve the issue. I never kept food in my room or anything that would attract mice, but I still found droppings all the time. (3) Too costly for the quality. I'm not sure where my rent money went. Maybe it was to pay for the downtown location. Sure, that was convenient, but I definitely wasn't paying for consistent heating and cooling, a thatched roof, a quiet space, a clean space, or countertop space. Move-in process: Bailey and Mary Kate were wonderful and super responsive. However, my first week at District 36 was a little rocky. The day the lease was turned over to me, my parking pass was still with the previous tenant. Absent mindedness is completely understandable, but it was inconvenient to wait several hours before I could park in the garage, and I was trying to move in some heavy furniture. Additionally, I needed to file two maintenance requests in the first week. In my opinion, these were avoidable requests if the move-out process was a little more thorough. Specifically with respect to cleanliness. The ceiling fans were covered with dust. Nail holes were not patched over. Extra nails were lying on the floor, which also presented a safety issue. A/c vents were not cleaned. And my spare bathroom drain was 100% clogged with the previous tenant’s hair. Lastly, it would've been great if the welcome packet we received contained information on trash disposal, quiet hours of the building, and WiFi setup procedures."
