"{Edited} I loved living at SLA! The staff did an excellent job with responding to your concerns, general communications and keeping the grounds and buildings clean. Having a full size wash room in the apartment and the large balcony were great amenities. If I ever find myself back in the Farmington area, I will try to live here again."

"My wife and I lived here for about 2 years and had a ton of issues. First of all, our AC rarely worked during the first summer we lived here. Since we were on the third floor facing west, it got up to 96° in our apartment a couple times. Eventually (after about 10-15 maintenance calls), they agreed to install a new AC unit the next year. Even with the new unit installed, it was still routinely running for 8 hours a day and couldn't keep up with the temperature it was set at. If the thermostat was set at 75 degrees, it would reach 80 in the apartment on a sunny day, and the electric bills would be $200 a month. Another huge negative is that there is no security at all in this complex. I had the wheels stolen off of my car in March and the police couldn't do anything about it due to the lack of security/cameras in the complex. Even though parking in a covered spot seems convenient, I heard other stories of stolen property from cars in covered spots. The only reason that I'm giving this complex 2 stars is for the pool. That was one really nice perk of living here and the only thing that we will miss. Overall I would not reccomend living here. For what they charge for rent, your money will go much further elsewhere. Rent will continue to increase every year, without any significant community improvements."

"I lived here for 5 years and loved it! The apartment is huge (especially the master bedroom), in-unit washer and dryer, beautiful stainless steel appliances and fixtures, and a great carport. If anything ever goes wrong, they fix it ASAP. One time I got home around 1:30 a.m. to find that the hose on my hot water heater had sprung a leak and damaged the drywall and floor. I called the emergency service number and someone was there in about 15 minutes and had it fixed maybe 15 minutes later. The next day by the time I came home from work the wall and floor were already fixed and cleaned!"

"Good floor layout - I would prefer getting the Breckenridge -detached rooms with attached full bathrooms :) but Aspen is also a good option. Maintenance service is quick and just a phone call away. In unit washer and dryer (who doesn't like it?). Corridors are clean, snow is plowed regularly in winter. Swimming pool is great for kids. Location is a plus point, near to theaters, freeways, gym and grocery store. The only downside is it lacks security in parking lots, no cameras or tags to get in. I have seen 3 cases since I’m here where the wheels (20 inch only to be specific) were stolen of the cars. Wheel lock nuts preferred if you have a nice car. Leave a voicemail if you no one answers at leasing office, which does happen a lot but they will get back to you."
