"Stayed in 2020. Horrible place to stay. Had bed bugs. Place reeked of cigarettes and expensive gas utility. Make sure you look at the actual apt you’re going to stay as they will show you the nice model one. I asked to move in early and they did not prepare the 1 bedroom apartment as they had to fix the plumbing in the toilet. They did have me stay in one of their more recently renovated studio apartment while they fix it. I did not mind that but What made it worse was when I finally did get to move in, there were bed bugs. It was from previous tenant based on what inspection said. The place reeked of cigarettes and it’s my fault for not checking that the place is not smoke-free. The wallpapers were the old kinds and stained yellow from the cigarettes. Some of my towel and clothes reeked off the smell. Not the place to stay in winter since gas is not included in the rent. The rent is decent but when you add in the gas, it is actually more expensive than other places where gas is included in the rent. I initially chose this because it was close to work and located in a dead end street. The apt i chose didn’t get much sunlight because of how it faced so it can get gloomy and depressing. Good thing I only signed a short term lease."

"I have lived here for 2 years and am VERY happy with the quiet country setting but close to KCC and downtown Battle Creek. Justin the manager is very easy to work with and gets things done in a very timely matter. Maintenance issues are dealt with in a reasonable time span and maintenance crew are trustworthy and pleasant to work with. Catch an apartment here if you can, you won’t be sorry!"
