I put a request in because my furnace had not been turned on yet, and there were 2 men there within an hour! I have lived in multiple complexes in a couple states, and this is by far the best! quiet neighborhood as well."

"I recently visited Friends who moved to Redwood Apt. in Battle Creek. The interior units are nice (although some of the craftsmanship is very sloppy), great layout and concept with one floor living, garage, private back patio. Unfortunately, I can’t say anything else positive. I am shocked that residents have been living there for months and the complex is barely half completed. It is my understanding it could be another year before it’s complete. The fact that they have allowed people to move in with construction going on next door or behind their units is appalling. They are supposed to be dog friendly, but people have no place to walk their dogs. Front and back of units are complete dirt, with few areas having spotty weeds which they call grass. The only true grass you’ll find is when you first pull into the entrance. In addition to there being no grass, areas behind some of the units are filled with construction debris. It was sad to see people walking their dogs amongst all that, only because they were trying to find patches of weeds for the dogs. You can’t even sit on the patio because of all the dirt which in turn gets tracked in every time the door is opened. The fact that these residents don’t even have grass in the front is unbelievable. If they are waiting for all the units to be completed before doing landscaping many of the tenants will have completed their lease and moved out by that time. If you don’t mind living in a construction nightmare, then this place is for you."
