Staybridge Suites Sterling Heights - Detroit, an IHG Hotel

"Rooms felt super clean, comfortable beds, room had an air freshener which made it smell overwhelmingly fragrant and gave us a headache. As soon as we discovered the source we unplugged it. Wish we could’ve opened the window to air it out but they don’t open."

"Absolutely loved staying here! The room was extremely clean with a modern touch, staff was super nice and the room was actually really spacious with a whole kitchenette included. The only thing that was a little annoying was having to wait for someone to answer the phone to let us in late at night, but other than that everything was perfect. Will definitely be staying here again."

"I have been a loyal patron of Staybridge Suites for quite some time, and I have always enjoyed the quality of service and accommodation your hotel chain provides. However, my most recent experience during my stay at your Sterling Heights location has left me quite disappointed and concerned. Upon checking into Room 317, I was dismayed to discover the presence of several roaches in the room. This discovery was distressing and highly unpleasant. I immediately brought the issue to the attention of the front desk staff, and I was subsequently contacted by the manager on duty, Austin Toma came to my room to observe the situation and took pictures. During our interaction, I pointed out the presence of roaches and expressed my concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the room. Unfortunately, I was disheartened by the outcome of our conversation. He did not assist me in anyway and tried to give me a refund of less than I paid. If you want to go home with roaches in your luggage don't stay there!!! 8/5/2023. I want to add this comment since the General Manager is lying. I have not received a refund to date as he claims he could not give it to me because I booked through United Airlines and paid $230 as he is only willing to give me $169 which I still have not received!"

"Fantastic place. I can’t believe this is only a 3 star hotel. We stayed here after a wedding reception about a mile away. Let me tell you — our trip included two over 4-star hotels, and neither of them were as nice as this place! The bedding was soft as BUTTER!! I took a picture of the sheet tags so I could try and find them to buy them. The front desk staff were courteous and friendly, smiling. The hotel was quiet for being in a more industrial area. The room was huge and even had a stovetop included in addition to the fridge/kitchen area and sizable couch. Massive TV. Separate shower and sink areas which is nice if you’re a couple - one can wash face while the other is in the loo. We were able to order DoorDash (Buddy’s Detroit Style Pizza) directly to our room with no issues. Free parking! I would absolutely stay here again. 5**** and 10/10 all the way!"

"Wow what a great place. Top 3 hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. Clean, great rooms, they let you turn the air very low, and even has a kitchen! Fridge is full size and has an ice maker built in. Staff was great and keeps the place looking spiffy. We will be looking for these whenever we are going out of town. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay. If there were some more restaurant and bar choices a bit closer that would be nice, but still has a few great ones near by"
