"Been living here for 4 months. Major challenges with noise from above. I hear loud booming noises, day and night. It’s quite bad and often interrupts my sleep. Not a good situation. This being a newer building, and especially at the price point, I expected better. Other residents have shared with me a similar sentiment. I’ve communicated with management about the noise issues in person and by email. Not to pile on, but if your apartment faces Franklin Circle like mine does…good luck. So much street noise: cars, motorcycles, and an unexpectedly large number of emergency service vehicles. We’ve also have recurring issues with car break ins. In my time here, at least twice there have been instances of multiple (up to 10) cars broken into in one night. Bad news. The people that work here have been kind to me. Previous review appears to be hidden for some reason. Probably didn’t post publicly. Second attempt."

"Have lived here for almost two years. Has been a great experience thus far! Maintenance always responds extremely quick, management has been great, apartment is pet friendly and everyone has been super kind to my fur baby. The complex puts on fun events every so often as well. The best part for myself has been the heated garage, so if I get called into the hospital in the middle of the night I don't have a cold car, especially in the winter! Plus, for those in the medical field, the Dexter is located within close range to the major hospital locations. Finally, I love my balcony and the views of the Guardian's stadium and watching the fireworks."

"Absurd policies that even with 2 bedrooms you can only have 1 car in the garage (which has dozens of spots that are never in use), forcing you to park on the street where they offer no security whatsoever and break-ins are basically a given at this point. Have walked by at least 20 cars broken into within a block of the building within the last 2 months. Management does not even pretend to be concerned or interested in offering increased security measures. Management has been repeatedly unprofessional in regards to multiple issues, even going so far as to say they were not ready for us on move-in day because they were “still recovering from the night before”. Not surprising that half the high reviews are from people who don’t actually live in the building."

"What I saw this morning when I walked out of Dexter Apartments shook me to my core. Vehicles, including my own, had their windows shattered and raided, highlighting a severe lapse in security. It’s distressing to note that this isn’t an isolated incident; it’s the third time such break-ins have occurred due to the necessity of street parking. What adds insult to injury is the management’s lackluster response, going on as business is usually and this is an expected occurrence for their residents with no regard to their safety. I strongly caution potential tenants to weigh these significant security concerns before choosing to live here. Because this isn’t a life. The peace of mind one expects from a residence is sadly absent at Dexter Apartments"
