"When I moved in to my actual apartment, I was amazed at how well the apartment was made ready. The first thing I saw when I walked into my new apartment was a sparkling clean, well maintained, designer look, spotless, home! I was nicely surprised due to the awesome appearance of the high end looking, wooden laminate type flooring in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and freshly new carpet in the bedroom. One of the reasons I was nicely surprised at how beautiful the apartment was made ready (prepared for a new move-in), is the apartment was immaculately clean. A good number of apartment communities do not prepare their units as well as Lake Carlton Arms does. The staff members who work in the leasing, management, and maintenance departments are professionals, and exactly who you should want working in these areas. I was also nicely surprised by the maintenance work order staff member who completed a work order for me yesterday (1/23/2024). He completed it in a fast, but complete manner. Thank you to every staff member I have encountered during the time I lived here! You are truly a group of trained professionals!"

"I’ve been here for 4 years, I’ve had nothing but constant issues. The office employees are not only rude but very unprofessional. They’ve lost our transfer papers multiple times and made us redo them, when we came to solve the issue I was basically told if I could not afford it I could break the lease.. my jaw dropped. That’s not even the tip of the iceberg. I’ve put a work order in so many times to have my ac checked because my apartment was at 80 degrees in the summer and all I was told by maintenance was I had to deal with it because there’s “Nothing he could do” There was something to be done, it’s called replacing the Ac unit. Which took 4 years to replace! Fast forward to recent, all of a sudden we have to pay water and sewage but they took over the internet, now my internet doesn’t work. This apartment complex is unliveable, Definitely not worth the price. It may be the cheapest in the area but that comes at a price, being completely miserable with issues everyday. I don’t even have working outlets in my entire apartment. If it wasn’t for their negligence I would have never resigned the lease. We resigned with the belief of having first dibs on the apartment because we live here, Nope they didn’t mention the 70 people in front of us. They just want you stuck in their lease. This is exactly why Lake Carlton has a 2.0 star on yelp. Save your money, save yourself the headache and don’t move here."

"Beautiful property with affordable, competitive pricing. Lake view is serene. Apartments are nicely insulated. Feels the most private you can get while living at an apartment complex. Tons of amenities and a convenient trash valet. Application process was interesting, but if you’re able to get in, I would pounce on it. Veterans and Dale Mabry Hwy make it an easy commute anywhere in the Tampa area. Shout out to Juan, our leasing consultant. Good guy that tries to help out however he possibly can."

"I’ve lived here for almost 2 years, and it’s been a fabulous experience. The office and maintenance staff are very professional and they work hard for the residents. Anything that’s gone wrong in my apt has been rectified quickly. There are LCA employees all over the place, someone is available 24/7. I love the gated entrance. And everyone I’ve ever dealt with has been super nice and helpful. I feel so safe here, as a woman living alone that’s priceless. Only real annoying issue I’ve had is the occasional loud/inconsiderate neighbor, but that’s pretty much just how it is living in an apartment. Overall, the beautiful grounds, parking, amenities, staff, and mostly quiet atmosphere more than make up for one or two weirdos. I’m really lucky I’ve had this opportunity to live in such a lovely place! P.s. I know they have a long waitlist, (which now I understand bc I don’t see myself leaving anytime soon…) but my advice is apply & GET ON THE LIST. I was told they had a 6-12 month waitlist but I applied anyway, then a week later they called and offered me a place for immediate move in after someone backed out! I moved in 3 days later! You never know what can happen."
