Reviews
"Overall it was ok. Limited parking , portable potty near by, playground seems a little dirty."
"You must go behind the shooting range in order to access by land, there’s another location marked on the map which leads to residential buildings (no park in there learnt the hard way)."
"Older, but perfect for my daughter. She loves this place. 3 slides. I like that the floor is covered in a rubberized material instead of just metal, it's easier on the knees"
"This is an almost five acre park near I-595 in Ft Lauderdale. Park amenities include a paved exercise path, bike trail, open play area, small playground and benches. The main reason you would want to come here is for the free parking and boat ramp that can accommodate motorized watercraft. During my visit I saw several people removing their boats from the water and there were many more trailers in the parking lot. There is one boat ramp that lets you out on to the North New River Canal. From there is a 4 mile trip to the Intracoastal at idle speed. If you head northeast you can go up the new River into downtown Ft. Lauderdale. You can also go up the Dania Cutoff Canal and stop for a picnic at Boater's Park which is only accessible from the water. This boat ramp is best for vessels under 21 feet. The park is open every day from 6 AM until 9 PM. If you are a boater you will appreciate having this free place to launch your vessel."
"Great place to pick up and drop off your boat. Parking is free and usually not too crowded"
