"Loved this hotel! Loved the staff! Great location. Let’s start with the check in, Mali for the win! She was so welcoming and accommodated our early check in with perks and a humor! We were gifted drink vouchers (even if it’s part of the resort fees, she made us feel as if it was a great gift). Very detailed in her explanation of where things were located and the hours of operation in the hotel. At the Steelpan bar, Cory was awesome. Funny & very personable despite how busy things were. Food, I had breakfast at Steelpan one morning, the chicken sausage was DELICIOUS, eggs scrambled so light and fluffy. Coffee was decent too, hotel coffee often isn’t in my experience. The room was spacious, clean, the shower had the half door that I typically don’t like, but the rainfall shower head was position in such a way that there wasn’t any major splash on the bathroom floor. The housekeeping staff were kind and helpful. I left a tip for one woman on the cart, she knocked on the door to say thank you. I thought that was very kind, because I just really wanted to appreciate her w/o disturbing her work again. Kindness is not lost on the staff here! Neither is humor! The only issues: I called for pillows and a blanket one night, it never came. Steelpan restaurant staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and frazzled the whole time I sat for breakfast, and unclear on the time that breakfast ended. The location of the hotel was great. It was a bit further from the bars and restaurants (I’ve been to Ft. Lauderdale quite a bit and typically stay within 5 mins of the strip action. What made up for that was the fact that there was quite a bit of GOOD spots (nothing too fancy/nothing too blah), bars, beach access right across the street (chairs included in resort fee), and a 711 a fews away. The strip of restaurants were about 12 to 15 min walk. If you decide not to take the stroll, you will definitely be able to enjoy the night life right outside the hotel! Stay here!!!!"

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay and Sean from the front desk was fabulous. I will say, my husband sent me flowers and they were dropped off but not delivered to my room, so I am very disappointed about that."

"Overall, we had a great experience! We were greeted right away with excellent customer service with Sean at the front desk! The hotel was clean and quiet. They have a bar/restaurant inside the hotel which has very friendly staff! The beach is right across the road! Restaurants and shops within walking distance."

"My wife and I along with our 1 year old son spent a week here in November. The property was excellent, and they upgraded us to the large suite at a reasonable rate, which was nice upgrade from the regular rooms. The biggest compliment we could give this hotel is how great their staff are. Evelyn was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as it was and was so great with our son. There was also another lady named Shinoa (I think I am butchering the spelling here). She was also very helpful and pleasant. Both ladies went above and beyond what you'd expect from hotel staff."

"We loved this hotel! The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The room view was fantastic. My only complaint about the room is that the blinds didn't close all the way so the sun shined through in the morning. I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. The other complaint I have is that the pool needed to be skimmed more often. There was a lot of gunk floating on top and it was off-putting. I would definitely stay here again!"
