Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale North/Cypress Creek

"First of all Jacob checked my sister and I with ease, with a great attitude! Love thee room is clean and big! Love the lobby! Great location with Pompano beach only 13 minutes away! Thank you Jacob and the courtyard for making our 2 day vacation stay wonderful!"

"The service was great, and we enjoyed the breakfast and drinks offered at the hotel. The hotel room was nice enough, but our main issue was the state of the bathroom. Clearly they didn't thoroughly clean. There was hair all in the shower and a couple stains on the counter. They offered us a complimentary dinner. They said they would send someone up to clean the shower, but no one touched it while replacing the towels. One of the new towels I used to dry off had hair on it. I appreciated the close proximity (but not too close) to the airport. There isn't much around the area though. For the price, it was a good stay, but I would want to stay in a cleaner hotel in an area with a bit more to do/see."

"The hotel appeared to be nice upon arrival and the check-in process was pretty smooth. The clerk forgot to inform that for the three nights we were there we wouldn't have any housekeeping services at all. The housekeeping staff obviously entered the room sometimes during the day but the only thing they do is remove used towels without replacing them with fresh ones. They didn't even empty the waste baskets. We had hoped that breakfast was complimentary in the lobby bistro but if we wanted to eat there the meal came with a hefty price tag. We opted to try our luck elsewhere. Overall impression was underwhelming and I doubt that there will be another stay at that hotel for me."

"This place has a future as a four star. Right by the Executive airport. Seeing parked planes by the pool is so cool. Phenomenal bistro and reasonable prices. The burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Laundry machine works well. The fitness center is on point. Highly recommend this location for all your needs!"

"The guy at check in was great. The rooms are disgusting though. The beds were super small, the room didn't look as though it had been cleaned and there was standing water in the tub when we checked in, and there was also red stains on the carpet. The furniture (like the lamp) was rusted, the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, and the the whole room just felt icky. When you enter the lobby its so clean and welcoming, a vast contrast to the rooms. We could not sleep peacefully because the walls were so thin and our noisy neighbors were up til 3 AM. It was a difficult stay with a 2 year old, and once we got her down an hour or so later, at 12am someone called the room out of nowhere then hung up (no one we knew had our room number). It was a horrible stay. We were in for a funeral so the only solace was that we only needed one night. I would not recommend this hotel and I'm quite shocked this was a "Marriott" hotel. So disappointing!"
