"Spent a few days here. I can’t rave enough about this resort. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is incredible and the specialty cocktails are fantastic and go down easy!!! If you come try the “Bitter Sicilian” or the “Fab 75” you won’t be disappointed. All day long there’s a DJ entertaining either at the pool or the bar area known as the living room. Today we’ve been enjoying the DJ known as DJ Baby Bass she is phenomenal!"

"Thoroughly disappointed. The online and Bonvoy app photos are carefully framed to mislead vacationers into believing they can walk out of the hotel and onto the sand. However, you must navigate a four-lane thoroughfare between the hotel and beach. Consequently, it is difficult for anyone with health or physical issues and your time on the narrow, overcrowded beach comes with the constant noise of traffic. They generously call the property a resort and disgrace the W Marriott brand. The rooms are small, uncomfortable and poorly designed. The resort fee and mandatory valet charge are ripoffs. Upon arrival I entered my room which reeked of mildew. By the time I switched rooms I was sick from the fumes. Overpaid big time and checked out several days early requiring me to forfeit airline tickets and buy new ones. We had dinner at the steakhouse which was good and several staff members were courteous and friendly but to reviewers giving this place decent ratings — you need to visit actual resorts more often."

"My husband took me for my birthday, everything was awesome. It started at the check in desk with Mark’s excellent service welcoming us & took good care of us. The room was awesome with jacuzzi tub on the 21st floor views were breath taking, pools were nice. We were even able to wash & dry our clothes in our hotel room. Everyone was so nice, absolutely had a great time. We will be returning. Thanks for the A1 service."

"We had our welcome party and destination wedding at the W Ft Lauderdale last weekend. The service and experience were exceptional. From the moment of check in, Mark made us feel so welcome and excited to be there. Every member of the staff for our wedding went above and beyond expectations. It was a perfect day and stay! The photos are coming out amazing and we were so lucky to have such a beautiful venue."

"This should be 3 stars NOT 5 stars hotel. This is an apartment building or condominium. The lobby gives you the feeling of three stars hotel (NOT five stars). The rooms smell bad and our neighbor was smoking marijuana. I had corner room and they tried to be nice and upgraded our room but that did not change our experience. The new room has the same weird odor. The AC is noisy. I will not come again for 650 a night !! I cut my trip and moved to real 5 stars hotel nearby. I paid 450 to get ocean front corner room and they gave me a corner right above the swimming pool. The staff were nice but the treatment is not like real 5 stars hotel. I am comparing to nearby 5 stars and 4 stars hotel. The rooms are old. Again it does not give 5 star luxurious hotel feeling. It is more like an apartment building."
