Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel

"Stayed here in between cruises out of Port Everglades. Stayed in the Marina tower. Older building, but clean. Everything worked. Marina view was mostly of a roof because I was on a low floor. However was able to get a great discount using Hotel Tonight App! This location is just across A1A from the beach and there is an over the street walk bridge for guests. So convenient and the resort fee includes beach chairs, 1hr bike rental & 2 drinks."

"The building where you check in was nice and up to standard, but we were on the marina side. The marina side might not even be nice enough to be a days inn or a super 8. The room next to us was having a party and blaring music all day. The hotel security got them to turn it down. We went to dinner and the entire 2nd floor smelled like pot when we got back. I tried to call the front desk several times and no one answered. I went to the front desk (which is across a parking lot) and they reluctantly moved my family to a different room that wasn’t so sketchy."

"This institution has many positive aspects! The personnel was amazing, bar was a little costly but it's in a resort hotel so it was expected. Fantastic, and I Intentionally Great location. Ample parking. The charter departs from behind the hotel if you plan to dive. The personnel was polite and helpful, and the food was all cooked to a high standard. Those who speak Spanish will also feel comfortable. After spending the first few nights by myself, my family came to stay with me for a few days. Everyone was having a blast. Short walk to Starbucks, bars, and the beach. Without a doubt, I would return."

"Lots to like about this facility! The staff was outstanding, bar was a tab pricy but it's in a resort hotel so it was expected. Great, and I Mean Great location. Ample parking. If you are going diving the charter leaves from behind the hotel. The food was all well prepared, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Spanish speakers will feel at home as well. I was alone for the first few nights then my family joined me for a couple of days. Everyone had a great time. Short stroll to the beach, bars and Starbucks. I would absolutely stay again."

"Great location right on the beach with it's own walkway over the street. Really nice little pool and bar. Rooms were fine, nothing fancy but worked well and were clean. Prompt service when we had an issue. Location is everything. Good restaurants within walking distance."
