"$1400 for a 2 bed 1 bath in this area is laughable! Lived here in 2019-end of January 2020 rent was $845/month, so moved out when my lease was up, never signed anything for a second lease and years later when buying my house seen they were on my credit for $4k of back rent. This place was a scam. My car got hit twice in the parking lot and both times office said the cameras didn’t catch anything. Police had to be constantly patrolling, gunshots heard every night and so much domestic violence with neighbors, the walls are paper thin, neighbors would just throw their trash in the parking lot. Several times entire parking lots were filled with people’s furniture, garbage and belongings just thrown all over the parking lot, I assume maintenance did that as it happened like 3xs. I hope this place has changed but from the pics it looks like they just updated the back splash on the kitchen walls. Wouldn’t live in this area again and it should be criminal what they’re charging in rent now."
"I had a great experience with Premier Apartments. The communication was great they answered all my questions and got back to me in a timely manner. Nakias and Naterra were great. I’m looking forward to moving in my first apartment there."
"Mr . Mario , Was very helpful very easy to talk to about the whole process. Made things very easy to understand as far as the application process as well as the deposit. The viewing of the apartment was amazing very nice unit everything was clean smelled good looked good. Very eager to actually get my response on my application I feel very comfortable knowing that Mario has helped me with getting into my new home & that he will be here also for any of my family needs. I’m recommending him to anybody that is looking for a new place to call home."
"Beware that these apartments charge with the RUBS systems for their utilities. I would not recommend living here if you don’t want to pay other people’s bills. I was overcharged a lot of money for utility bills I did not use and tried to talk to the office about it, but they just basically told me to deal with it."
"I want to provide a real review for those interested in these apartments. I have live here since late Oct ‘22. I was here before the renovations and after. I am currently at the end of my lease and I am planning on renewing and I will tell you why. Like any apartment in these types of neighborhoods, you have your good and your bad. The Good: Affordability - The cost of living is on the rise and these apartments are still affordable considering you have to make 3X the rent in most apartments in Atlanta. Renovations - The renovations has definitely added.value to the apartments. The appliances and lighting is definitely more modern. New Management - I moved in when RUME property took over. My first 4 months, I knew I was in the hood. Had to make sure I had an alarm system and a peacemaker. In March, RUME made some real changes and now it’s a fairly quiet and safe complex. Flexibility - Like any apartment they want their rent on the 1st and they do give you grace until the 3rd, then comes the late fee. However, I’ve been late quite a few times. In most of those case’s I’ve communicated when I was going to be late and they offered me grace during those periods so that I can pay and not go through an eviction process. Of course, if you are excessive the grace starts to run out. The Bad: Maintenance - Since September of ‘23, as I write this, there has been a huge improvement in maintenance people. However, there has been times where if I did not go to the leasing office I feared my issues would have stayed an issue. I had a hot water heater issue and a air conditioning issue since I’ve got here. Fortunately, these things have been resolved. Maintenance not as bad as it use to be. Til this day I can’t wash clothes and run hot water at the same time, but I’m taking what I can get. Roaches - I have seen the exterminator one time in my year of living here. I can’t say I have a roach infestation, but them brown boys do make an appearance every now and again. Light Fixtures -The living and bedrooms do not have light fixtures. I have never had to buy a lamp for my room until moving here. Well just be prepared to buy lamps. Useless Gates - This is supposed to be a gated community. When the gates did function they didn’t give out gate codes. Now the gates are just there for complex decor. Overall, I would recommend these apartments for first time movers who are on a budget."
