"My husband and I lived here for a year. It’s a good location. Besides that, let me tell you about how things work here…You have to pay $150 extra for parking, otherwise you’re hoping to find parking on the street. There are no cameras in the building or parking deck, so safety might be a concern for you. The doors to the building are suppose to be locked and you use a fob to get in but most of the time the fobs aren’t needed because the doors are broken so anyone can just come in. One particular door on the side of the building looks like there have been many forceful attempts to open the door so it never latches now. Sketch. Chicken factory next door, the smell is gnarly but the sight of the dead chickens in the truck beds are even more gnarly. The mail room- if you have a package, don’t be surprise if some go missing. It sits on a shelf and anyone can go in there and take. Lastly, SECURITY DEPOSIT- we moved out Oct 20th. It is now Dec 8th. We have not received deposit back, it’s been over 45 days. They have asked for our new address 3 times. BH Management is the corporate office that runs 17 Broad and they WILL NOT respond to the staff at 17 Broad about this issue. BE CAREFUL at this place, it is not luxury as they claim and management will steal your money! Tennessee law states that security deposit must be returned to the tenant within 30 days of move out."

"The move from South Carolina to Tennessee was nothing less than stressful. But with the management team here at 17 broad they couldn’t have made it any easier for me. The staff is very helpful, welcoming, and kind. They are always there to answer any questions and are more than happy to help you on a tour especially Tiam!! Moving here was one of the best decisions."

"Nasty moldy apartments. Look up channel 9 news and you'll see an article about it. We also had issues with our ceiling leaking water through the light fixture in our living room. Not to mention it's LITERALLY right beside a chicken plant. It reeks of dead chicken's and their poop outside the apartment. Lazy and unprofessional leasing agents at the front office too. This place was by far the worst living experience I have ever had. Do not move in here. It is not worth it."

"Horrible place! Expensive for what you get just to be downtown. I visited my friend there & there was awful mold issues. I was sick the entire week I was there due the the spores in the apartment. They acted like my friend was crazy & being ridiculous. The mold was on her hvac vents & collecting on her furniture. It was visible & undeniably there. Do not rent here! If the mold doesn’t kill you the smells from the chicken processing plant will."
