Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chattanooga (East Ridge), an IHG Hotel 1441 North Smith Street, Chattanooga, TN 37412

"TERRIBLE. I booked a room here last Wednesday 1/28/24 through a third party. I arrived and checked in - walked straight to my room opened the door and was overwhelmed by the odor in the room. It was FILTHY and clearly the bed linens had not be changed. The bed was made but the linens were just gross. The bathroom was the same. I went straight back to the desk after my 5 minute look at the room and told the women at the front desk “I have changed my mind. I cannot stay here.” Their only response- “you can’t get your money back”. They did not ask one question about why I was leaving. I just walked out. I usually stay at the Hampton in the same area as I travel to this part of the state frequently for work. I ended up booking at another Hampton a little further out. I reached out to my third party booker and they told me I would have to take it up with Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn East Ridge - you owe me a refund and an apology."

"It is in a very odd location. Off of a side street off the main drag. The parking lot is not big enough to accommodate all vehicles if rooms were full. If you get back late at night, good luck trying to find a parking spot, and if you do, pprepare to do a multi point turn trying to get in a space. Very narrow aisle and small spaces. The back parking lot is one way in and out and is a dead end. If all spots are full, you will have to back all the way out to the main street. Front desk staff were very nice and professional. They only had one associate working breakfast which allowed for periods of times when you had to wait on entrees or coffee."

"Rooms typical of hi express. But cleaning was really not done well, especially in bathroom which made me distrust entire room. Probably a staff training issue. Guy at desk was friendly and helpful"

"Probably the best holiday inn express I’ve been too. Customer service was amazing the whole staff was really great. Breakfast was very good. Everything was clean and well kept. Would definitely stay here again when we come back."

"We purposely wanted to stay out of downtown and this place was great. Nice hot breakfast. Pool temps could have been warmer but fun for kids."
