Hotel Indigo Chattanooga - Downtown, an IHG Hotel

"Jessica at the front desk is fabulous! A member in our group experienced an issue with her reservation and a different staff member was less than willing to help. Jessica, who had assisted other members in our party, was eager to jump in and help. She not only identified the issue but went above and beyond to correct it. As someone who used to work in hospitality and customer service, Jessica is someone I would want on my team. Because of her attitude and desire to make our stay comfortable, I would return to this hotel. Thank you!"

"The cost of the room seemed high considering the hotel offers almost no amenities. Currently, there is no pool. It is in a great location. You can comfortably walk to any place downtown. While we were there, only one elevator was working. This building has 10 floors and a basement, with one working elevator. And the cleaning staff used this one elevator as well. Needless to say, you had to plan for time to wait on the elevator. The room was very nice and I would say quite large. The bed was very comfortable. Valet parking is required, but, you have to pay to park everywhere in downtown Chattanooga. As stated earlier, all of downtown is within walking distance from this hotel - so the valet parking ends up being quite convenient."

"Overall a fine experience. I think the rooms are over valued for what you get in total, but this may just be my specific experience. We checked into a king size, standard room, and as soon as we walked in we could hear our neighbor talking (assuming on the phone). We don’t think they were being overly loud either but we could hear a decent amount of their conversation clear enough that we could understand what they were saying. The sound pollution of our neighbors room continued on into the night such that we were certainly hearing things we’d rather not. Needless to say, for the price we paid for our rooms I’d expect a bit more sound isolation but that’s not what we received. The only other issue we ran into was there was only one elevator in operation at the time we went, and we aren’t talking a large elevator either. 4 people can fit on them comfortably, but if you happen to get on one at the same time as one of the house keepers, expect to be uncomfortable if they have any of their trolleys with them because it will take up most of the space. Aside from those two issues the stay was fine, but again, I feel it’s overpriced for the experience overall. It is a great location and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and the room itself was well designed. If half stars were an option I’d rate a 3.5, but I feel a 3 is lower than warranted so I gave it a 4."

"Hands down the best value hotel I have ever been to. I am shocked at how inexpensive it was for how much it offered. It is a pet friendly hotel, very clean, friendly staff, good food, and great location. 15 minute walk to the Walnut Street bridge. The gym is very clean with face towels, wipes to clean the machines, filtered water, and snacks."

"We were very pleased with this hotel and the staff. They go above and beyond for the guests. We booked the room for our anniversary only to realize we booked it for the night before. Daniel and the manager were very helpful! They got on the phone and got it straightened out for us with IHG. They even upgraded us to a suite room and made our anniversary trip one for the books. The restaurant and bar were very nice. Great food and drinks. We will definitely be back. Thank y’all for such a great experience."
