Baymont by Wyndham Chattanooga/Hamilton Place

"Refused to give deposit back ..and guy at checkout was extremely rude and kept my deposit receipt . As long as he's at this location I will never return I've stayed at this location several times in the past but never again.. big white guy ..didn't get his name .. I asked for corporate # he said they was individually owned I asked for owner contact info he said he would have them call me ..2 weeks later no call ... Needless to say ..I will take my business n money elsewhere .. think the guy just wanted to pocket my deposit for himself ..very unprofessional ...I e only had an issue with this one individual..other staff that i have had the pleasure of dealing with have been absolutely amazing ..they get rid of this guy n i will return ..but until ..they have lost a 3x a month traveling customer !!!!"

"The first room smelled like pot and was nasty. So we got switched. Still Dirty linens unswept floors cold shower no breakfast as advertised. Awful. The only thing I enjoyed was the domino's I ordered. Will never stay here again. The front desk clerk had his wife and child in the office with him. Like third shift. That baby should have been asleep or at home."

"Please avoid this hotel at all cost. We usually have decent luck with Baymont, so while heading to Toledo from Florida for a funeral we chose this location. We walked in and the place was obviously under construction. The front lobby was a mess over and above remodeling, and we had no idea where the "free" breakfast would take place. We then get into our room that smelled like an ashtray. We then look in the bathroom and both decided we weren't going to shower, I didn't want to chance the black mold. I pulled back the covers to make sure we didn't see any bed bugs. I didn't but opted to sleep on top of the bedding either way. It took me hours to fall asleep for that fact. We got up about 5:30 am and left with about 3 hours sleep. When I got into the refrigerator to get my can of monster or a bug of some sort (but a roach) fell to the floor, after 2 stomps he conceded and lost the battle. The place had people talking and walking around all night. So if you need a hotel in Chattanooga, avoid this one. It's the trap house of hotels. I think I would've been better off at a rent by the hour hotel. At least there you know you're getting scre#ed."

"here's a list of everything that was wrong with our room & services. 1. No heat (was never changed rooms nor a maintenance man to fix it) 2. Front desk banging at door at 9 a m for us to check out & check out isn't til 11a.m. 3. 1 & 1/2 inch gaping "hole" draft under the door. 4. One set of towels & rags & had 2 people, wouldn't give an extra set. 5. While getting dressed, front desk worker banged on door til my husband answered it again @ 9a.m asking us to check out, as my husband went to close the door, he stuck his foot in the door to pry it open, & I thought it was shut, I was in nothing but undergarments, (bra & panty). 6. Wouldn't allow me to re book a different room online for better price, made me stay in the cold room I was in, & charged me $87. & The last time when I did book online for $36 they rejected it & charged me $19 plus tax= $55 ish. & I'm not satisfied with "3,000 credits" you gave me for my troubles that I could've received by signing up myself."

"DO not stay at this hotel the workers are extremely rude as soon as I arrived I had an encounter with one of the workers that threatened me and tried to assault me in the parking lot(was the maintenance guy) the hotel did nothing about it. The rooms are absolutely disgusting and filthy and They will turn your feet black from just walking barefoot. Multiple stains on the floors and walls ceiling was falling down in bathroom the halls and rooms reaked of marijuana along with people doing dope outside! You’ll be lucky to even sleep with the people outside yelling were a few nice people in the front office. Online it says they serve breakfast but the only thing they have are old cereal toast, muffins and waffles which the waffles were empty every time I wanted one I highly suggest you find somewhere else there’s plenty of hotels around that are a lot safer and better cleaned than this place (DO NOT STAY HERE) also forgot to mention the pool is not filled"
