"I have a lot of dental anxiety after a previous root canal attempt on a “hot tooth” that did not respond well to anesthesia. When I needed another root canal, Dr. Burns was highly recommended by a Facebook group and I can confirm the praise is well deserved. My first appointment, I expressed my concerns about not wanting to feel any pain. I’m not sure if it was the injection technique or a stronger anesthetic was used, but I did not feel a single thing during my appointment and the side of my mouth was completely numb for the rest of the day. While she was working, she made sure to check in with me frequently to make sure I was not in pain. I also appreciate that I was not judged or shamed for having cavities, which some dentists tend to do.
