"I’ve been praying to find a dentist nearby and saw this on this list approved by my dental insurance. Also, she is a black dentist and I wanted to try her and support her practice. Today was my first and last time going. This was one of the most traumatic experiences I’ve had in a dentist’s office. It reminded me of being a kid and disliking going to the dentists because the are so rough and aggressive. The dentist was so rude and nasty about how she relayed information to me. She made me feel so insecure about my teeth and I had not felt any pressure about them before going. She was also so aggressive with how she handled me and my teeth. She was recklessly moving the sharp pointy tool around and stabbing my gums. I have been praying for a dentist who treats me with kindness, care and compassion. I want someone to work on my teeth they way that they would want someone to work on theirs and this fell short. I had to stop her in the middle of the cleaning and left crying and so distraught. This is not how it should be when going to the dentist. I will not be returning nor will I recommend this place. However, I will say that the lady who works the front desk and the lady who did my X-ray were kind but Dr. Mae was extremely aggressive and unprofessional with how she treated me and spoke to me about my teeth."
