"Absolutely ruined our new years. Every year we go to a hotel on New Year's Eve specifically for a pool for our kids. This indoor pool was ICE cold. Nobody could swim in it or their muscles would freeze up. Several other guests were telling front desk about it but they did nothing. The heat and air did not work inside the room and their 24 hour gym was shut down at 9pm. We asked for a refund and ee would leave but they refused"

"Disappointing Experience at Conference Suites in Columbia, SC I recently stayed at the Conference Suites located at 1540 Daulton Dr. in Columbia, South Carolina, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Upon checking in, I encountered an issue with the television in my room, which was extremely frustrating. Despite seeking assistance from the front desk, the staff member on duty was unhelpful and displayed a dismissive attitude. As a frequent traveler, I value quality accommodation and attentive service, both of which were lacking during my stay at the Conference Suites. I hope that the management will address these concerns to prevent similar experiences for future guests."

"I would give 0/10 if I could! This was the worst stay at a Choice hotel ever. At check in we were informed that we had to show both of our ID's due to increased credit car fraud and destructive behavior of previous guest. The hotel foyer, hallways and elevator smelled like weed and were dirty. The 3rd floor was loud like people were having a party. The walls are very thin and the doors have a gap on the bottom and the side so you can hear everything. Other people kept slamming their door or were arguing in and outside of their rooms. Very unpleasant. The Room wasn't any better. The floor was sticky, the bathroom not clean. Pubic hair on the toilet seat and it was dirty. I had a brown layer on a clorox wipe after wiping it down. The shower had hair in the corner and looked stained. The bedsheets looked like they had been used or someone crawled over the bed. The pillows were wrinkled. Half of the lights were not working. I could go on and I took pictures if requested by management. This hotel needs a lot of work. It's definitely not worth the money. All I got from the GM after my review was a general "so sorry you were unhappy, were working on it" message. Looking at past reviews, I think it's safe to say that that's not true. Never again will we stay in this nasty excuse of a choice hotel."

"Very disappointed in this location, and will no longer stay. Rooms are clean, parking is tight at times in a large vehicle. Keep in mind, I’m in a box truck, but wish there was a way for hotels to note this. I’ve stayed here often, but this will be the last. We work nights, meaning we live on late checkouts. Night time help was very friendly, and gave us a 1 check out. It was perfect. Next morning housekeeping woke us up, at 9. Then we were informed at 1145 that our new checkout time was 12. We haven’t showered or anything, and were going off of the checkout time we were given. No apologies given, just throwing the previous nights help under the bus as they “were new”. New or not, when a time like this is given, it should be kept, or at the very least a little more notice than 15 minutes given and a nice explanation on the way out the door, not the front desk joking and cutting up with someone about a credit card being stolen."

"The rooms were very nice the beds were very comfortable. There is a lot of work they need to do their outlets in the hallway sticking out the plates are not flush against the wall. The pool had a lot Is bleach and it and it was cold. The phone in the room didn't work but coffee pot didn't have the little cup and it was dirty inside to pour the water. The people are very friendly and helpful. It was very safe hotel you could not get in without a key card. The exercise room was small but okay my kids had fun in it. The hotel is painted Gray outside it's not tan. The elevator was missing a tile on the floor and they put a rubber Mat over it it needs a lot of maintenance work.."
