"While I stayed here my room was infested with ants. I spoke to the women at the desk about this and was told the manager would reach out to me. Which never happened. I couldn't walk in my room without shoes, which was very frustrating, especially when I had my young child with me.They then pulled the money from my account and returned it. Then pulled it again several days after I had left. Very poor experience and would never bother with them again."
"This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The front desk agents are very rude Jessica & Kelly omg I was screamed at spoken to like a child by Kelly I spoke with her several times about my reservation every time she was rude from beginning to end. And she act as if she was getting a kick out of it like I remained calm but I informed her if this is how you treat your guests over the phone I don’t think I wanna stay here she went ahead & illegally charge my debit card I had on file when I reserved the room after I told her I was probably going to cancel it cause I didn’t like the way I was being treated. I told her she was very very rude she yelled at me & said we could have reserved the room for someone else I was overcharged all these different charges. I was down here for my daughters graduation from Fort Jackson so I went ahead & decided to keep my room just in case all the hotels were booked up for the graduation. I called back to see if I could speak with someone else & I got Jessica I tried speaking with her about the situation but she was rude also & acted as if she really did not care. My room had a musty smell coming from the carpet, their were pubic hairs in the shower. The bedding cover looked dingy & was very thin with small tiny pillows on the bed. The breakfast was horrible & the coffee was cold. I mean this was just a really bad experience I would not recommend staying here… FYI I initially booked here cause I read good reviews online but after seeing first hand what it was like I do believe the reviews on here are not authentic."
"Our stay here was perfect! The check-in was fast and friendly. The room was clean and modern. The breakfast was delicious - typical hotel breakfast (eggs, toast, bagels, waffles, cereals, juices, coffee). My son used the gym. It's open 24 hours, which he loved. He said it was clean with plenty of equipment that seemed new."
"** Realize that there is a “destination fee” on your bill and it’s optional, even though they don’t mention it to you ** First I will say that the staff at the desk was always 5 star. The hotel itself is maybe a 4 star, but it’s getting worn down, so approaching a 3 star. The issue was the cleanliness. I stayed here for two WEEKS (read: spending over $1500), and during the first week I requested zero service to my room. At the end of the first week I talked to the front desk about having my room cleaned and also the bed linens and towels exchanged for new. They said “absolutely” and they would schedule me for a “full service” clean. Nope. I noticed there were several markings on the linens, so on a hunch I took pictures of them before the service - no surprise that when I got back it was the exact same sheets, pillowcases, and spreads on my bed. They also didn’t clean anything in the bathroom, like the shower, sink, or toilet. I’m staying in a hotel - I’m certainly not going to buy cleaning products to take care of that. Additionally, they didn’t leave any toilet paper, didn’t give me any new hand towels, and left the empty box of tissues there without replacing them. Also, they didn’t vacuum the room - there was a black rubber band on the ground when I checked in, and it was still there after the “full service” clean. During these two weeks I ended up with a minor skin infection - possibly nothing to do with the hotel, but it certainly didn’t help. They have multiple signs around the hotel about how clean it is - not even close. Again, the front desk staff was great, but they should look into getting a more reliable cleaning staff."
"Decent stay. Service was adequate, staff was friendly enough. Clean hallways, clean room. Not much to say here, to be honest. The room came fully stocked with the appropriate linens, soaps for the shower, and it had a closet if you needed to store things. The room was nice and quiet, but the door didn't seem to have the best sound barrier, and I could hear pretty much everything in the hallway. The location was good, right near a couple restaurants and the highway. Breakfast was served between 6-10am, and there was a variety of food choices - bagels, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, fruits, yogurts, cereal, coffee, juice, and more."
