"We picked this building because it had 24/7 doormen. The building has suddenly decided to get rid of them. You now have to have your phone on you to unlock the doors to get in. Seems really unsafe for a women coming home at night- if your phone is dead you have to call the super to get him to unlock the doors. After 2.5 years of living here we’ll be leaving when our lease is up. Another thing to note is that this building has a D energy rating- our power bill is $400-$600 in the summer."

"I want to separate this review from the staff at the actual apartment building who I like very much. You know every once in a while when a company makes you feel like a line on their balance sheet and not human? Heatherwood made me feel that way recently. Great on the front end for starting a lease but a recent experience made me think differently about Heatherwood. Try giving the main office a call on anything other than starting a lease and you may feel just as small and disregarded. In my most recent email I told them that I was considering leaving a yelp/google/online review and nothing back. Happy to private message anyone who is considering Heatherwood or anyone who has questions with details."
