"Our room was clean. Bed is little hard for me. Had to wash most of the dishes before using. They are remodeling and is noisy by 8am. Explains the deal on the room we got. They should have told us. Indoor pool is warm, but restroom there are not. Great location to downtown. And nice it has free parking for guest. Spa tub works great and the water is always hot!"
"I used to love coming here. This trip was different. We are staying in room 13A and B. There is no privacy on side B because the bathroom is wide open with no door. If you have to use the bathroom and you are staying on side B then whomever is staying with you can see you using the bathroom and showering. There is no way to get any privacy. The bathroom on A Is even more wide-open, and there is no shower curtain. There’s no icemaker in the kitchen. Only half of the plug-ins work. One lamp in the master didn’t work because there was no way to plug it in. The fireplace on side B does not work. There is no overhead lighting over the kitchen stove. The vent in the master bath does not work. This has been reduced from a sleep eight to a sleep six when using A & B. All of the Jacuzzis have been taken out of the rooms. NOT LUXURY and side B is not kid friendly due to privacy issues."
"I have stayed at the Gatlinburg Town Square once a year for the majority of my life, eventually becoming an owner myself. Until recently, I’ve absolutely loved it here. In the last few years however, I find it impossible to justify my yearly maintenance fees. The room itself is dated, the televisions are from more than a decade ago, not a single interior door closes properly, the bathroom fan does not function, there’s a broken drawer in the bedroom, and the remote for the already dated TV was also broken. The exterior of the building isn’t maintained in a way I’d like to see, either. The elevator taking us up from the VERY cramped parking garage seems to be on its last legs and takes an exorbitant amount of time just to open the door. I never saw a staff member save for the night time security guard and the front desk clerk, but both were very welcoming and courteous. It would seem to me that since being bought by Exploria, the resort has declined in a significant way. If it wasn’t for the great location, I wouldn’t bother staying here. I hope that in the next few years a major refresh occurs so I can go back to loving the property I grew up in."
"We're staying in a small efficiency, but it is very nice with a gas fireplace and a large jacuzzi type tub. It's within walking distance to Downtown Parkway. Highly Recommended."
"Lovely from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The balcony was big and nice to sit out and listen to the cicadas. Just a couple blocks removed from the main hub so everything is at your fingertips without having to pay for parking but far enough you hear none of it. Family activities abounding on site and the pools were clean and nice. Some ongoing repair work could be seen but nothing that hampered our enjoyment in the slightest. The value was excellent! I plan to stay here again!"
