Motel 6 Gatlinburg, TN - Smoky Mountains

"Check in was quick and easy and front desk personnel was friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable, and had a refrigerator and microwave which was really nice. We were also able to bring our 2 dogs for no extra charge. Great location too."

"Great location to walk to town. Motel is old and in need of an update. Room was clean and Carla, who checked us in was awesome. She helped carry our bags to our room and brought us ice. Motel has no elevator so it's all steps to the second floor. There is plenty of free parking. There is a dog walk area but there is poop everywhere. We had an in room jacuzzi. The motel has a fair price for pet owners and being so close to town. It's not the Ritz Carlton so don't expect it. They'll keep a light on for you."

"We just got back from a night at Motel 6 in Gatlinburg, and I gotta say, the folks working there are top-notch. Everyone at the front desk and the housekeeping crew were super nice and helpful. When we checked in, they even had treats for our dog Felix, which was a sweet touch. Getting him set up was a breeze – just a quick form to fill out. They've got a spot for dogs to do their business, and they provide bags too, which is super handy. The location's great if you're hitting up Dollywood or Pigeon Forge – both are really close by. Plus, there's this peaceful creek right behind the motel. The whole area felt quiet and safe, which was nice. Our room was clean and looked good. For what we paid, we were pretty happy with it. There's plenty of parking, but just remember you need to show a tag from the front desk in your car. The TV in the room had lots of channels, which was cool for winding down in the evening. Our room had a fireplace, but we didn’t use it, so I can't say much about that. All in all, we had a good stay at Motel 6. Great service, pet-friendly, and a killer location. Definitely got more than our money's worth!"

"This place looks like it is still should be under construction. The front desk employee seemed like she was falling asleep or high. She was polite, I won’t take that away. The rooms were clean but not 100%. Found other peoples hair in the shower. Small roaches kept coming out in the bathroom/ sink area. Wall paint was discolored and stained. Room had a bad smell. CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!"

"DO NOT STAY HERE. RUDE STAFF. BUGS. BAD AREA. The room was very dirty. Sticky stuff all over the floor. Animal and human hair on the beds and floors. They obviously didn't clean the room at all. Just took out trash and made beds. Bed had a large yellow stain on it. There were small dead bugs in the bed as well. They look like small fleas. The bathroom door wouldn't shut and had a huge hole kicked in it. We stayed at the room for 30-40 mins before we decided it was unfit to stay. We went to the front desk to get a refund and go to a different hotel. We kindly asked for a refund. The front desk lady was immediately annoyed by this. She said she had to check the room before she refunded us. We walked up to the room together, and as soon as she walked in she huffed and snapped at us for "dismantling the room". All we did was pull the sheets back. Nothing else in the room was touched. Very disappointing experience. We were very polite to the staff the entire time just to be chewed out for pulling back sheets."
