"My husband and I have stayed here for many years. It's in a great location and walking distance to restaurants etc. We love the fireplaces in the room. It makes it so cozy. We stayed for 3 nights this past weekend and probably will not be back. We felt like we were in a kennel. We were placed in the middle room with people staying with their pets on both sides of us. We had dogs barking at 3a.m., 6a.m., and 7a.m. At one point one set of dogs were howling. We came back to the room on Saturday afternoon for a nap before dinner and wasn't able to sleep because the dogs were barking again. We had planned for a quiet restful getaway that was anything but that. We love animals and understand people want to bring them with them but don't put us that do not bring our pets in the middle of those who do. We probably won't be back."
"Just a solid place. A little overpriced but worth it. The fireplace is a great feature! The indoor pool and jacuzzi are nice. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi jets don’t work though. Outdoor fire pit wasn’t on. Breakfast isn’t free and the buffet is decent. I would pick Margaritaville over the Hilton because those rooms are incredible but this is a good option if priced well! Management: in the king rooms lose the chair/ottoman and add a pull out couch! Those rooms would be so much better with that option."
"My recent stay at provided a mixed experience worth noting. The hotel itself boasts exceptional installations and amenities that deserve commendation. However, I feel compelled to highlight areas where the service fell short of expectations, specifically concerning the staff's interactions, notably at the front door and in the restaurants during morning hours. Positives first: the hotel's facilities are top-notch. From the beautifully appointed rooms to the well-maintained common areas, certainly excels in providing a comfortable and enjoyable environment for guests. The attention to detail in the design and upkeep is truly praiseworthy. Unfortunately, where the hotel seemed to falter was in the realm of customer service. The front door staff, while polite, appeared somewhat detached and could benefit from additional training in offering a warmer and more welcoming greeting to arriving guests. A friendly smile and a more engaging approach would greatly enhance the initial impression. Additionally, my experiences in the restaurants during morning hours left something to be desired. The service, particularly in terms of attentiveness and promptness, seemed lacking. Staff members appeared preoccupied and could improve their interactions with guests by being more proactive and accommodating. It's essential to note that these observations do not diminish the overall quality of the hotel's infrastructure and amenities. The potential for an outstanding guest experience is undoubtedly present; however, refining the customer service aspect, particularly in the mentioned areas, would undoubtedly elevate the stay to a more satisfying level. In conclusion, while my stay was marked by exceptional facilities, there's a clear opportunity for the staff, notably at the front door and during morning restaurant service, to undergo further training in customer service and hospitality. With a bit of attention in this area, the hotel has the potential to offer an outstanding and well-rounded experience for all guests."
"Do NOT stay here! German Cockroach in our bathroom. The woman at the front desk didn’t even deny it. We are absolutely disgusted. This place needs a star (or two) knocked off. 3 stars is too generous for a place infested with cockroaches. UPDATE: Not long after I wrote my initial review, we found a cockroach nymph scurrying across the walls in our room. Picture attached. There is no doubt in my mind that they have an infestation. All of our belongings are now compromised and we will need to do a thorough inspection before bringing items back inside our home. This is absolutely horrifying, however, the rooms are filthy, so I am not surprised. The best the hotel could do was refund us one night and move us to a different room, since all of their sister hotels in the immediate downtown area are completely booked. We will not be back here and recommend you avoid staying here too, unless you also want to risk your homes being infested by stowaway cockroaches."
"This was the most pleasant experience I've had at a hotel in a very long time. The room was well kept and clean. The decoration was gorgeous. The hotel overall was very cozy and fit the mountain scene perfectly. The location was key. We could walk any direction and get to where we want to go. Plus, right on the other side of the road is the creek. The staff is secret friendly and great to talk with and very willing to help with any need. They definitely know how to do hospitality here."
