"My girlfriend and I moved into Phipps Garden Apartments Dec 1st only to find bed bugs throughout the apartment bedroom. The first month of December has been the worst move in we've ever had in nyc. They are providing an exterminator and slowly working with us. They did not clean the apartment very well before we moved in as I found dead bed bugs in a spider web as well others, along with living ones. The atmosphere in the Phipps Garden Apartments is very welcoming and the Sunnyside Garden community is fantastic. Just be cautious about moving into a space that has not been checked for bed bugs as Phipps Garden Apartments gain a reputation for bed bugs, and vermins."

"This place has been one of the worst place I have ever experienced. Don’t get fool by it’s outer looks. It’s a nightmare inside, big big rolling roaches and those biting BUGs. Residential manager’s behaviors was way cruel.. Don’t even wanna remember this place ever."

"I came to visit my mom’s with my two children- a toddler and a baby. New apartments were getting new remodeling, paint and appliances. Which is fine, I’m Not here to discuss the apartment itself. However the letter building my mother lives in was a hot mess. I lived in this very same building 7 years ago and this was NOT the condition it was in. The paint seems to be chipping off everywhere - mostly on the ceiling and the stairs were so dirty- pet dander, pollen , hair and god knows what else. I called someone to discuss this since I know her rent increases but amenities seems to be decreasing. The man seemed skeptical of what I had to say so I’m not sure my voice was heard. Only time will tell if the condition gets better. I pray my next visit I see a bit of improvement. This was once a beautiful and clean complex, hope it becomes that again."
