The Century Tower

"I’ve love to hear for three years, the staff is Courteous and professional but other than the at the Value of What you get for the high rent prices does t match up. The amenities are old like from the 90’s The floors have patches that are not the same color wood. They tell you they don’t have the same color anymore when they have to replace a panel. The building apartments are roach infested and there’s no inside to the problem. Parking in the area is horrendous. The laundry room is old the machines are old and broken down and take your money and sometimes don’t wash or dry your clothing. Occasionally certain staff members are unreliable as I put in tickets for things to get fixed and no one comes for weeks even months. Know what you’re getting into before you rent here. It’s very overpriced and doesn’t live up to what they’re asking in rent."

"Lived here for three years. The management staff are super nice. The concierge, the doorman, etc. I had joined the gym for a year and gym was dirty. Wasn’t maintained daily, you could tell. It wasn’t worth $225 for couple membership. For that I rather have joined Equinox! The only thing that was a huge red flag for me is that the rent went up 15% each year. Each year for me $350 more. I thought that was ridiculous. They get you to pay a decent rent the first year but after that goes way up. Not ok. We also had an abusive couple living next door to us, they would beat each other up, you can hear it through the walls. I had called management about ten times in three years, they never did a thing about it. It started as soon as I moved in. I had to call the cops several times because it was SCARY. but nothing was ever done, no actions being taken. The reason why I moved out was because of the rent and the couple next door. So overall that’s why I give you one star. Perhaps you have better yourselves."

"I lived here for 3 years and while I didn’t care for Riverdale (boring), the Century was a great transition spot after moving out of Manhattan. The Mgmt was great. The rent affordable. The local elementary school - thumbs up. And the after school program at TCR was amazing. Pros and cons. Depends what you’re looking for."

"The Century Tower is a residential building with lots of Doctor's offices on the main floor. The building has multiple elevators, laundry on site, doorman and mailroom-to receive your packages. Maintenance is on hand for any household problems. There's also a gym membership with a pool and sauna. Residents receive a discounted price. You can also pay for a massage, facial and mani-pedi if you wish."

"I currently live here and love it. Nothing is perfect but the management does their best to ensure the safety and wellness of tenants. Doormen are kind. Tenants look out for each other. It's a pretty 'well-run-ship' compared to the 4 other apartments I've lived in throughout NYC over the past 12 years."
