Highbridge Hotel

"Great - but with mixed feelings. I stayed at Highbridge Hotel for a few days. Overall, a very satisfying stay. The front desk and housekeeping staff are very friendly. The room and hotel facilities were exceptionally clean. Unfortunately, there are two little things that could be improved. The first thing is the parking, which is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The hotel will assign you a spot that is yours during your stay, which is perfectly fine, but it would be great if you could book a spot in advance to make the arrival a bit more comfortable. The second thing is the hotel room door. There is really bad sound insulation, so I heard absolutely everything that happened in front of my door. Also, there was no deadlock installed, which made me feel a bit insecure. However, I strongly recommend Highbridge Hotel, and if I ever visit the area again, I'll be a proud customer."

"We recently stayed at the Highbridge hotel. I can’t see enough about how wonderful the staff is! The family feel at breakfast , to their accommodating. The manager even remembered my son’s name, and we always felt very welcomed. Were very clean and kept that way. We stayed over Thanksgiving, although some of our points of interest were a little bit out-of-the-way we look forward to coming back to the hotel and enjoying, the comfort of it. I would highly recommend staying here, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful!"

"GREAT DEAL - Price was almost to good to be true. Booked here for just one night. My friend ended up joining me last minute. The hotel staff were polite and accommodating. They changed my reservation from a one bed room to a two bed room without hesitation. I was actually impressed with the free breakfast and we did utilize the hotel parking it was $20 for 24 hours. The hotel parking is very secure! This was very nice feature for a fair price. Everything seemed clean. Though we did not spend much time there the neighborhood seemed fine. We went out at night, and it was fine. Obviously be caution always, in any neighborhood and you should be OK. Great food options in the neighborhood. One thing that may be a problem for some people the hotel is close to the street and you can hear pretty much everything going on outside. But I didn’t hear a thing once I fell asleep. I would definitely stay again."

"We stayed at Highbridge for the first time November 8 to 10. My husband had a medical procedure at a hospital in Manhattan scheduled and the hotels around the hospital were so much money, I decided search nearby. Highbridge was about 3.5 miles away and one third of the price. I admit, I was a little apprehensive but after reading all of the reviews I decided to book here. I don't think that I could have made a better decision! The hotel and the room was spotlessly clean. I love that the room had no carpeting, just hard floors (hotel carpeting is almost always disgusting) All of the staff were great! We dealt mostly with Maria at the front desk and she was the best! We didn't venture out, because we were not there for a vacation, but we never felt unsafe in this hotel. Hopefully we won't be back for medical reasons, but maybe we'll get tickets for a Yankee game next year and will definitely stay here! Would recommend 100%"
