Sheridan Hotel

"To much & for this motel because is defiantly not a hotel. Had 2 day reser. checked in @9:pm AND the first thing I find is a rude Clerk with no type of customer service skills, then walked into the room to find 2 roaches occupying the bed. I go back to the rude clerk to let him know about the the incident of the roaches, he says roaches, I said yes roaches, change the room, his rude self, did changed it. Now he sends me to the 2nd FL. I go, key to upon the room doesn't work. I go back to him, now he is feeling annoyed, screamed at me then says I'm calling the service lady to open the room for you. I walked away. My worst experience in staying in a hotel, the customer service really sucks, the room as I mentioned had roaches, no blankets, TV service is best to watch a movie in your phone because it really doesn't have to many channels to see. Wifi wasn't working, towels look like wash cloth, not even a towel to place on fl. No coffee pot, no gym and no breakfast like is advertised. If I could give it a -0, I would. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, PLEASE STAY AWAY. Cheap rat hold."

"They offer rooms by the hour, need I really say more? They do not offer anything they list on their site, no breakfast, no gym, no business center. They do nothing to make it right. Worst hotel I have ever seen or stayed in.. .run the other way, sleep on the subway, it's a cleaner safer place."

"It's not a 5 star hotel and it's better than other hotels I've been in. Not a great location. Staff were great and doing what the could. Vending machines need stocked, rooms were made each day during our visit. Only issue we had needed blankets, and the room keys kept resetting after rooms were cleaned."

"I wouldn't wish this hotel on my worst enemy. It was dirty, no blankets, door did not close entirely. All the amenities that were advertised were not present at the hotel. It is loud- every time someone in the hotel flushes the toilet, it sounds like the pipes will burst in the walls. The customer service is atrocious - staff were rude and dismissive. I stayed here for business travel and presented a tax exempt form and verbally confirmed 3 times that I should not be charged tax. I was still charged tax and called every day for a week to have the tax refunded and kept being told to call back in an hour because there was nothing they could do. Stay away- you're better off sleeping on a bench in the park."

"The hotel looks nothing like any of the pictures posted. Room has a sour smell to it - almost like stale urine. No blanket provided, literally just a single flimsy sheet. The towels are literally generous hand towels. They advertise breakfast & a gym space, which is the only reason I booked them over a better quality hotel and never informed me they don’t actually offer those services - neither at time of booking NOR during check in… I roamed the hotel this morning trying to find the promised coffee and muffins just to find a locked door… Front desk clerk was extremely unhelpful pointing me to a pile of Chinese menus to supposedly PAY for more breakfast when I already payed to be provided breakfast. There’s not even a mini coffee maker in the room. I travel a lot, I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels… I expect a little variance from the listings, but this place screams “false advertising”. If a guest pays for amenities, we shouldn’t have to pay even more out of pocket for those amenities. I wish I could give a zero star."
