"It was a great stay. The room has a nice view and big enough to move. Great location for subway transportation. However if you have a car parking is horrible especially during weekdays. Otherwise it was a great stay."
"Was a decent stay for a quick overnight for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. About an 8 minute walk to the train and goes right into Manhattan. There are stores and restaurants around the train station as well. The neighborhood seemed safe and welcoming although my stay was very short and on a holiday. The view from the rooftop was amazing. The bed was comfortable. There wasn't an ice machine but other than that all necessary amenities were covered."
"Location is great, affordable stay right outside the city. never felt unsafe, short straight walk to the subway. Room was amazing. Clean. Room Had everything we needed, If not there was self service in the lounge for extra toiletries Easy check in and out. Will definitely stay again! And definitely recommend staying here!"
"Was pleased with the quality and size of the rooms. The staff was mostly courteous and welcoming. Unfortunately the main elevator was out of service and we were on the seventh floor where you either had to take the stairs or take the service elevator to the sixth or eighth floor and then take a set of outside stairs. There's also not much nearby unless you like Long Island City but there is a decent subway stop."
"I really enjoyed my stay at the Sonder. The location is great. You can get to the train station very quickly and can be at times square in 10 minutes. There are supermarkets and restaurants (e.g. pizza and breakfast) around the hotel. My questions were answered quickly and well by the hotel even before I started my trip. I arrived late in the evening and had no problems getting into the hotel with the access code in the app. There were always nice people at reception (in the evening, however, only security staff and no service staff). The room was large and well equipped. There was even a microwave, a fridge and a hairdryer. The view wasn't bad either. I could see the Manhattan skyline from the third floor. The common room downstairs was also large and well equipped. Just before Halloween, the staff provided candy for the guests. The only negative thing I can mention is that the rooms are only cleaned on request. This also means that you have to dispose of your garbage regularly yourself in extra garbage cans in the hotel corridor. Overall, however, I can highly recommend the hotel."
