Amazing! the location is perfect too! Planning my next trip already."

"The room has classic design, with touches of the city. I got to stay in few hotels in the city past couple weeks while my apartment being renovated. The vanity sink's stopper was broken, and was not draining water. The fact that this wasn't spotted from the house keeping gave me some doubt about the hotel's room preparation. They did promptly send someone to fix the sink - though, to me at least, it was sanitary concern, that was below my expectation for the hotel."

"Excellent location and very friendly staff. Great atmosphere with very good bar and restaurant. Overall room is in need of refurbishing although clean and comfortable. Disabled access room was good although bed too high. Thanks to Ewelina of housekeeping who reduced bed height. Overall not really what I would expect from a 5 star hotel."

"If you are looking for a nice, quiet location to retire in the city, this is the perfect hotel. I have taken advantage of all of their services since I've been traveling to and from NY. The staff is attentive but understands privacy is incredibly important to many of their clients. The spa is a wonderful way to unwind after a busy work week, and the bar has fantastic cocktails. I especially love the live music they provide. If you enjoy art, take advantage of their collection -- the staff is always willing to arrange a tour. All of my requests have always been met in a timely and courteous manner, from diet restrictions while eating at Cafe Boulud to courier services. Highly recommend."

"this was our second time staying at The Surrey and we enjoyed it as much this time as the first time. The room was very comfortable with a small sitting area. We were able to check in early which was extremely nice as my husband was not feeling well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants understated elegance with exceptional service."
