"Don’t trust the paint job. It’s all for the looks. Internet access is abysmal even when you pay a premium to get an extra line from the isp. Old equipment and old lines that the complex has no intentions of fixing. Worn down ac units that struggle during summer. If you have a work from home job and plan on moving here do not do it. You can’t get a stable connection. Place is corporate owned and operated. Managers are just here to put out “fires” and not actually accomplish anything. Pool is closed often and not maintained properly. People with heavy vehicles drive at 40mph plus. Someone is bound to get hit because residents are loose cannons and the complex is not doing anything control the situation."

"A buddy of mine lives here currently and they are so disappointed in the management running it. For instance, recently the residents have gotten notices about taking basically everything off their patios, like bikes, folding chairs and storage containers. Umm, people ride bikes to work and don't want them in the house, chairs? Need a spot to sit outside. Ridiculous! About a year or so ago, there were a few big storms and the ceiling was leaking and they did a maintenance request and it took WEEKS to get them out to the apartment to fix it. THEN there was mold in the apartment and when the request was put it it took even LONGER for them to come out and fix it. I mean they got SICK being around the mold, had to take time off of work because they were constantly sick and throwing up. It's a HEALTH HAZARD! The only way that they fixed it was us calling the office to tell them we were going to get the News out there with 3 on your side and THEY would get things situated. Still should've since it could've been hospital bills, loss of wages and whatever else. I don't care how many buildings and apartments you have to take care of. If done CORRECTLY then you wouldn't have so many issues. Do your job or get a different management company to take over that knows how to take care of their tenants. Hire competent people that work well and efficiently. Don't make the place overly pretty, make it SAFE, IN WORKING ORDER and CLEAN. That's all most people ask for. If we PAY our hard earned money to you, please have the decency to do right by us or you won't have ANY tenants in the end."

"Currently live here, and since the first month I’ve signed the lease the place has gone down hill. The police are here every other week settling public arguments, and in the times between we are kept up by revving cars and people in the parking lot fighting. Last week our car was falsely towed (we got it back free but lost a day off work and had to cancel plans). Week after (today) air conditioning went out for the third time and still waiting for it to get fixed. Also put in for maintenance for the dishwasher that was marked completed but no one showed up. Personally the local management I’ve spoken too has been nothing but helpful but obviously the upper managers decisions has tied their hands."

"I live here currently. I have had nothing but respect towards me. I have an older cat. She hates people and can get mean with strangers. The maintenance and the office have always worked with me. They come in and fix whatever is necessary, but they respect that I have to be home. That's huge for me. Alyssa and Yvette in the Playa office are always very nice. My complaints are... the grounds and the parking lots are always dirty. The sprinklers leave lakes in the grass. No more security. I've been approached getting out of my car at night. The people they are letting move in are something to be desired. Last month we had a lot of cops here, twice. You hear a lot of people arguing. I do like it here, but really no longer feel safe. I'm considering leaving at the end of my lease, for this reason. You take your chances wherever you go."

"Be mindful and don't rent the unit attached to stairs for you will hear everystep of every above neighbor. Not a place that recognizes disability laws, lacks concern for those needing access to disability ramps that are continuously blocked by neglectful tenants blocking sidewalks and use or parking in handicap spots and not handicap. Trash and discarded furniture left in road way throughout community for days on end. Complete disregard of waste mgt. Not a tenant first culture. Staff smokes at the office doorway and utilizes multiple parking spots for their carts in an area where parking is limited. Upon move in kitchen counter was smashed and repairs were denied (in writing)due to cost, yet the counter is old and damaged. Water damaged walls just painted over. Cracked foundations lead to wet carpet when it rains. Base boards don't touch the floor.Let me say that one again, the base boards don't touch the floor. Pool gate locked on one side with chain year round, or pool completely closed for one reason or another, piles of dog poo everywhere. Sauna is NOT sanitary, most like mold. Reports or requests to mgt are continuously met with runaround answers or cancelation of request. Some of the maintenance staff is professional even after fixing the same thing for the fifth time ...working with what they are given."
