Soltra at San Tan

"This place is a story of missed opportunity. The management companies here have been unable or unwilling to put in the resources to properly manage and maintain this property. They are terrible problem solvers. They can't manage the package room, let alone almost 400 apartments. Most apartments accept pets, including Soltra. IMO this causes a lot of problems with barking, poop and pee everywhere, and lingering odors and stains in halls and apartments long after the pets are gone. I love animals, but I don't think they should be allowed in apartments. But it's a money maker for the management companies and owners in terms of pet fees and pet deposits, so here we are. While Mark-Taylor is currently managing this property, these are not "Mark-Taylor Homes." They were designed and built by another company. Say what you will about Mark-Taylor's management, but "Mark-Taylor Homes" are top-notch design wise. You won't find any amenities or finishes here that you won't find in any apt built in the last 5-10 years. A well-maintained property and premium resident services could've made up for the commonality. Like I say, missed opportunity."

"Had to update this after leaving my 5 star review months ago. I LOVED this complex when I first moved in but since Mark Taylor took over is has gone downhill quickly. The front staff and maintenance are rude and literally don’t even acknowledge you when you walk into the office (specifically the women, the two men are friendly sometimes). The entire building smells like dog piss and there is smeared poop all over the concrete. I never see maintenance out cleaning up the grounds and I used to see that daily when I first moved in. The stairwells and hallways are so gross and smell, I’m embarrassed to have guests over. Excited to be out in a few months."

"The experience seemed to start out good. At the community tour with Brandon I was told they have keyless entry into the apartments that can be accessed through your phone or fab. This was perfect as my dad lets my dogs out for me during the weekdays when I work and I like addition access in case I lock myself out. When I went to take possession and move in this was not the case and was told I can only have 1 key fab and that is the only way to access the apartment. They would not allow an additional fab even for a fee. I was concerned about this being a deal breaker as my dogs need to be walked and let out during day. Feeling discouraged I at least asked to tour the apartment to hopefully change my mind but the leasing agent Tyler refused my request telling me there is no point in showing me the place if I’m not going to commit to taking possession. This was a red flag and made me feel more uncomfortable about moving forward and ultimately led me to make the decision to NOT move to this community that likes to nickel and dime you down to even having to pay for a parking spot but won’t let me pay for an additional fab. BE WARE OF THE FINE PRINT."

"We are going to be new home residents of the Soltra community and we couldn’t be more pleased on how much compassion and communication we have received from staff! From beginning to end of the process to getting approved, has been a seamless top tier experience. The units are luxury but staff also makes you feel like luxury. Brandon has been the one to help us with the entire process! I have also talked to Tyler as well both great people and they want to help you find your new home!! Brandon showed us all of our options even though we were a walk in visit and we didn’t set an appointment, he still took the time to show us everything to make sure this would be a great fit for us. He gave us an in depth walk through of the floor plans available, we discussed budget and he made sure all of our concerns/questions were fully answered!! We appreciate all your hard work and dedication Brandon and we can’t wait to move into our new home! Soltra is close to the San Tan Village shopping center, lots of food and entertainment!"
