"Place is kinda like cheezies pizza in the kinda attitude of "wth do you want and get out of my store" vibe. It's very efficient and I loathe going to the box stores across town for something small. It had all the things I need for my projects and the employees know where it is. It's not great for browsing the store to kill time. It actually sucks for that, like people will act like your stealing something other than time.lol I see that I'm not the first person to experience this part of their culture either (maybe you need to update). which is why it's only 4."

"First, everything is over priced especially nuts, bolts and screws. The good thing is they have a pretty good selection of oddities that you won't find anywhere else. BE SURE TO WATCH YOUR CHANGE IF YOU PAY IN CASH. The cashiers can't do simple math and will short change you. Whether its stupidity or intentional. Even when called on it, it takes 3 of them to get it right. Forget getting keys cut there. They have 3-4 nice key machines but they won't make you a copy of a car key unless you buy their key blanks or chipped key replacements. Even though you only need a spare to open the door in case you lock your keys in the car. They also wont trace your key to another one of your keys. You have to buy theirs with a chip in it! The whole problem I had was a cheap key like theirs had the chip die. Common issue on non-factory keys. I had a factory GM programmed key I just needed cut to my aftermarket working key that the chip died in. They wouldnt do it. I was willing to pay for the service too. The car wasnt movable because of the key so it couldn't be brought to the store. Factory keys can be bought for the same or less money than their aftermarket keys. And guaranteed to work longer than 6 months. They are my last resort and 50% of the time, they either won't help or they have no clue what they're doing. Most of the time the sales people just annoy me because they have no clue what they're doing and I leave. If they can't find the right bolt, or make correct change, why would I trust them to program a critical key to my car that could be permanently locked down. Think they would pay for a tow truck to haul it to a dealer and pay them to fix it. I rather doubt it"

"I wanted to let y'all know that I just did a little shopping in your Joplin store and it's such an underrated gem here in town. I'm so glad to have it close by and not have to go to Webb City to do shopping and get such wonderful service. A gentleman by the name of Mark helped me out with testing a little light cable for part of my Christmas village helped us resolve the problem. Absolutely fantastic folks who know customer service! I really wish more people in Joplin would put some foot traffic in this store because it is absolutely fantastic."

"Always helpful staff just as soon as you walk in. Ready to help you find what you need. Very good selection of items. It is slightly more expensive than the chain stores, BUT it is well worth it with great customer service. Do not forget to ask if they have something you don't see. They have storage outside and stock more things like bag concrete, and many more things concrete is what I needed at the time. They have a nice service counter in the back for cutting keys and other things."
