Patrician Apartments

"Lived here 6 years and watched the place go down the drain. The asphalt is in terrible condition, the bottom of the pool is rotting, cockroaches starting crawling in through the vents, the cops were coming almost weekly for domestic issues among newer tenants, the manager send letters and claims rules that violate tenant rights, including discrimination. Many units have had pipes burst, leading to floods and water leaks and being displaced to the cheapest hotel. The roof is in terrible condition. They continue to raise rents claiming higher costs to maintain, but nothing is maintained. When we moved out, they told us they were keeping the carpet we had for 6 years and we had a dog. We maintained it well, but based on California Law and decency, it should have been replaced. The manager tried to tell us we needed to vacuum the screens on the windows when we moved out, and a list of other ridiculous requests. When she couldn’t keep any of our deposit because the place was left in great condition, she charged us for another day of rent claiming we didn’t return the keys in time. In reality, she walked out of our pre inspection after we asked clarifying questions to be sure we understood what was expected and didn’t answer calls or emails requesting to schedule the final walk through. She left us a voicemail saying we wouldn’t be charged for the extra day since it was the Monday morning after the Sunday we moved out that she called us back to arrange the final walk through. When we received our deposit back, she in fact did deduct another day’s rent for her inability to do her own job. This place is a total disaster."

"The old management was never in the office.. I soon absolutely to leave but the new manger seems to be great I see her walking around and doing her job the office is always open"

"I just had the most amazing experience! Tanya was super nice and patient with me. I left a message on a Sunday and she returned my call on Tuesday morning. Her customer service is a 10. She made it quick and easy. She answered all my question and showed me one of the units. I am excited to know she is the manager Patrician Apartments!"

"I called to ask about availability since Apartment Finder mentioned something about lofts being available soon. The lady who picked up was blunt and hung up immediately after saying they didn't have anything available. Management doesn't have the professionalism to make me want to rent or recommend their apartments in the future. They give off the impression that they are unorganized and have a lack of communication."

"I haven't lived here, but my interactions with the staff thusfar aren't as those above me have described. I'm unsure if there was certain tensions due to the callers as well. In my understanding, this location and price fits my needs extremely well in regards to both school and work, and I do not mind leaving additional reviews in regards to future experiences have I decide to move here. Again, I haven't had any negative experiences with the staff and am actually going to visit tomorrow for a tour of the apartment I've been looking at in my process of shopping around. I'm starting positive and so have they, we will see if the courtesy is continued on their part."
