"Extremely noisy and say goodbye to your security deposit. The cost: I rented a one bedroom apartment here on a month to month basis at $2600/mo + utilities. I put down a $750 security deposit. The unit: It's your classic old but cheaply "renovated" American apartment. Not nice but really could be worse. However it is right along the train tracks, it may as well be the train station and there's a road crossing nearby as well which means the conductors love to blast their horn as they go by the apartment. Good luck sleeping especially if its during the summer months living in this un-airconditioned apartment. The deposit: When I moved out I used a shop vac, drill brush, dozens of microfibers to ensure it was in better shape than when I moved in. I also ensured the walls were free of damage. Yet after just 4 months of living here, they saw it necessary to repaint all the walls at the cost of ~$450. Who knows if they actually did repaint it anyway. You certainly won't be able to tell if they did. They also charged me a carpet cleaning fee of ~$100. When I emailed Audra, the apartment manager, I received no reply. (When it comes to signing a new lease her responses are super quick somehow...) The verdict: I was in a rush to find a short term apartment in a very short amount of time, otherwise I would have never signed on this place. I advise you to shop around as this is one of the worst deals you can possibly get even in this area."
"Noisy, poor management, poor accounting, esch time they were truong to reach for the already paid services, they are afer your money only, because they are located in Palo Alto, and there is a high demand, they think they have right to tenants like sh... they leased the place with the disgusting carpet that had terrible odor, we realized after move in, they used same company to solve the problem but, no luck we had to take care it ourselves. The management charged us the painting fee that we only stayed for six months, there was nothing other than normal wear and tear, and extra cleaning fee that we cleaned it better than when we first got it, the fridge and and oven was not cleaned at all. Watch out for the forms, and what you are signin."
