"Will elaborate as my stay continues at the hotel. I will start with this. Internet is dreadfully slow (2 to 8 Mbps ). There is absolutely no excuse for this. They just did not invest, and this and many other things. The hotel has been neglected. My AT&T cellular from within the hotel is not much better. Elevators sound like they haven’t been maintained in a long time. Both of them are noisy, and scary to use. Water machine on my floor is broken. I told the front desk about it and nothing was done. Room furnishings are worn, curtains so worn that there are holes in them letting in light. A/C noisy as are the room doors when they shut, causing the room to shake when the neighbors close their doors. Check-in with front desk was a nightmare. The employees abrasive rude and argumentative, also giving misleading information about pricing and then no apologies once I caught it — App significantly better price than was given at the front desk even though I asked for the best price. A poorly managed hotel without breakfast that charges close to $700 for four nights. Breakfast cost $25. I can’t imagine anyone paying that for what would be a free breakfast at a motel six. Had to switch rooms because the first room I was given smelled strongly of sewage accompanied by lots of deodorizer to cover it up. After asking for a quiet room, that stinky room also had construction going on directly across the hall and also down the hall on the 6th floor. No apologies when I made my way back to the lobby to raise these issues. Second room I was assigned had no A/C. When I told the front desk, they told me they already had switched me, and they will not switch me to a functional room again. They will instead send up a maintenance man. Note the hotel was nowhere close to being full. This put the burden and inconvenience on me for their defective hotel. Due to convenience and inertia, I have now extended my stay two extra nights. No break on the cost. They charge for parking, $15 a day currently. But there’s no regulation or control or security. It is an open lot. Ridiculous. Response earlier today from hotel doesn’t address my issues. Was told they’re due for a major renovation later this year. Well deserved. In the interim, they should compensate clients for the problems they encounter. They are charging top dollar. Hoping they reach out and compensate me, but I doubt they will. With restaurants spent close to $1000 here for a few days."

"This place is nothing like the photos. They are all click bait. The rooms are big, but pretty ghetto, you can tell the interiors are from the 70s. My mattress was sagging, so its probably at its 10 year mark. Gave me back pain. Their water pipes have issues. I can hear big repetitive thuds from showers which woke me up. They charge $15 a day for parking, which is absurd for what you get. There are tons of hotels seconds away that are free parking. Last but not least, the internet is basically dial up speed. Good luck trying to get any work done here. Most definitely not coming back."

"Overall a pretty nice hotel, with nice amenities. The pool looked pretty decent. The fitness center is well stock for cardio, but a bit on the lacking side for weights. The hotel room itself was pretty good. The wallpaper installation had flaws (but who cares right?) and the carpet was very outdated. The TV / channels was all decent. There was an ethernet port, but it was plugged into a Ruckus that wasn’t plugged in at all. The ethernet port on the floor did not work either. The internet was painfully slow (4Mbps up/down) which made being working difficult. Each floor had a filtered water station on it, however the first night mine ran out of water (which I informed them about it, and they said they’d fix it) but after two days it barely flowing water still. I would have go to different floors each time I wanted a fill up (which really wasn’t a ton). The hotel itself seemed pretty clean and nice. I didn’t utilize the pool but it looked impressive from a distance. The hotel gym was adequate, not as nice as I thought, but it was more than enough for a basic trip. There were a lot of patrons utilizing it while I was there, but not so many I couldn’t gain access to a machine. I would have expected a bit more weights though. There was significant parking spots available, but by nightfall the parking lot did fill up. Parking was an extra $15/day which I didn’t expect. Overall it was decent, the internet really needs to be sped up, especially for a hotel in the heart of silicon valley…"

"I stayed in the suite, so this may be a bit biased. My room was really large, clean and really nice amenities. The customer service was great and the housekeeping team always did a great job. I highly recommend"

"Service was super friendly. Pictures must be from when hotel was new...in the 60s. Rooms run down and dingy. Standing in the lobby reminds me of listening to my grandma talk about how hip she was as she stares at a black and white photo of her self in the 30s...but the service was super friendly...it really has that going for it. Great staff. I'd like to take them and put them in a facility worthy of them. I might start a go fund me to relocate them..."
