"We stayed at this Inn to escape a plumbing problem in our apartment. Unfortunately and ironically, the bathroom was incredibly unclean with literal feces smeared on the side of the toilet and on the handle (see photo). Immediately spoke to Ashley at the front desk who had me send the photo to the Inn email, but after weeks of waiting, heard nothing back. Usually my tolerance for the un-cleanliness of hotel rooms is pretty high, but this was downright unacceptable exacerbated by the lack of follow up."

"Traveled to Palo Alto for appointments at Stanford Hospital. Stayed at this motel because of how close it is to the hospital. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable ; the area is very quiet and safe , and hospitality is exceptional here . Neal , the general manager, went out of his way to make our stay great . He is so kind and helpful. Ashley , Karen and Bo were very sweet. All the employees here genuinely care about providing quality service and a stress free experience. We will definitely be returning to this motel ."
"I was a guest at the Stanford Motor Inn for 2 months while work was being done on my home. This motel is clean, safe, quiet and is adjacent to Stanford University and downtown Palo Alto. The managers, Neil, Ashley, Jeff and Laurie went above and beyond to see that I was comfortable. I am going to refer my family and friends to the Stanford Motor Inn in the event that they are looking for lodging in Palo Alto."
"Rooms were very clean and a good value. My family had to stay here during a 3 day widespread power outage. We found the front desk service to be helpful and empathetic during a stressful time. This inn is very well located to many different restaurants, businesses, and Stanford. They have a light breakfast in the lobby, and our room had a kitchenette with a stove and fridge. I will be recommending this inn to visiting friends and family."
