The Westin Palo Alto

"This hotel is a gem! Wonderful charming supportive staff, especially Jennifer, Alex and Samantha. I was a women on my own, and they were delightful. The food was really amazing, all chef made fresh, loved the minestrone soup, delicate kale salad with a nice lemon dressing and a pomegranate cocktail! I think the owner must be a talented designer, I really appreciated the custom furnishings, and the mixture of modern and classical beautifully done. Especially loved the very nice outdoor patio spaces! Very cleaver and uplifting."

"As per usual with the Westin brand, this is a very nice and clean hotel. Unbeatable location relative to Palo Alto and Stanford University, as well."

"Very nice Westin! They have a wonderful gym so if you stay be sure to check it out. Buffet style breakfast in the am is OK. Looks small from out front but you wind down many hallways for tons of rooms. They have a small pool that most rooms overlook so not much privacy if you don't wanna be seen in a bathing suit. Underground parking which is a little tight to get in and out of. Saw a lot of scrape marks from cars trying to maneuver the corner. It let's you out on El Camino. Not sure how bad traffic can get but it was ok for me. The staff was amazing! Would definitely stay again. Oh and the rooms have showers with the rainfall shower head or the handheld nozzle and it has a tub. They come with a small fridge which wad nice. The ice machine is touchless and provides water too. Make sure to visit the gym. My fav so far in Palo Alto."

"One of the best experiences I've had at any hotel I've stayed at so far. I checked in with Ken and Jen at the front desk who both had great service, it's nice when you walk in feeling welcomed. There was a little hiccup with my room not getting cleaned the next day, which was not a big deal. Oscar the Manager immediately took care of the issue having house keeping get right on it. Oscar gave me some drink vouchers for the inconvenience. So I visited Sandro the bartender for some free drinks while I waited for my room to get cleaned. Everyone left a great impression and I look forward to returning again."

"Good for an overnight business trip or attending to matters at the University or medical center. A clean room and a comfortable bed, but no closet, iron or even hangers in-room. Excellent location, with dining options and the Palo Alto Transit Center a short walk away. Thin walls, though—I could hear the murmurings of my neighbor's business call. Overall, the hotel's price reflects its location, not its amenities."
