"Good location, clean room, but we had some issues with the management. We had one day at the island, and wanted to take a nap after our hike, but the owner decided to noisily throw a party in the adjacent patio that interrupted our nap. When brought this to her attention, she made us feel as though we were being a bother, and said she'd be done when we were back from dinner. They were not done when we got back, of course, so we had an extra hour of them being noisy right outside our window. Frankly the fact that she valued her social affairs over the comfort of her guests was incredibly disappointing, and it ruined our experience at the hotel."
"We love this place! Can't stop going back. My husband and I visited in May. I just love the beautiful view from the front room. I could sit all day watching the harbor. At this time of year it is a bit quieter, no wild and crazy people. I enjoy visiting with the owner, and appreciate the fact that she screens the clientele. Wow, she is more interested in the ambience than the bottom line. I don't think I have heard that at a hotel before. I can't wait to go back and I hope it doesn't change a bit! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
