"Staff were very friendly. The room was nice but a little dingy. Our tv and heater didn’t work and the front desk didn’t respond to a voicemail we left for them to fix it. The shower is small and awkward to use. Great location in the center of town though. Overall, you don’t get much for what you are paying."
"If you’re looking for a place to stay at during your trip to Catalina look no further. Alex is a superstar and created the best and most personable experience ever! There were a few things we forgot but he was quickly able to help us obtain them and even went above and beyond to help us while the manager was unable to be contacted (their phone was off when we were trying to contact them even though it was the only provided number for when the front desk is closed). He happened to come by and assisted us even when he was off of work. He definitely deserves a promotion!"

"I paid almost 300$ a night the two night I spent there was not fun at all! The cottages are very tinny, taking a shower it's like you are standing in the a bottle! You can't turn around or stretch your arms, very dirty, very old, I requested for the room clean up, they didn't change the bedsheets, they cleaned and pushed the dirt under the bed! Very disappointed in you guys!"
"I had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel. It was establised in the late 1890's and while the rooms and hotel show it, its piece of history is amazing. The rooms are not 5 star quality, but its 100 years old. The staff (David & Crew) did everything possible to make our stay amazing. The location is perfect and for the price, you wont go wrong taking a few days to relax here. Thanks for a great stay Hermosa Hotel & David!"
