"This is a SPECIAL spot with the BEST service! The staff went out of their way to make sure guests were having FUN and living their best lives. They were not mailing it in! I would stay again in a heart beat! My room was perfect! After camping for 2 days it was so great treat"
"Nice accommodations and good service. Perfect place to relax and unplug. Enjoyed the cheese and crackers though why only give 4 crackers? Lol. We wanted more crackers. It was cold at night and we had to request extra blankets. There's a mini fridge in the bedroom. Microwave and water is in the shared dining space. There wasn't much to do in two harbors and the main hike we took was to the other isthmus."
"My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at the Banning House Lodge in Two Harbors on Catalina Island. The Banning House was so charming, clean, and lovely. The views were unbeatable and the room was super cozy and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and kind. Breakfast was offered each morning. Every evening from 5 to 6 p.m., the Banning House offered a complimentary wine and cheese tasting. I will definitely be back and cannot believe this was my first time here."
"I have been to this lodge multiple times and not once have I had to complain. Right as you step off the boat you are greeted with a friendly smile as they offer to load your luggage into their shuttle and even on the way to the lodge it's a small tour of the island as they explain the wonderful history of Two Harbors. The rooms are very clean, I always stay between the Carriage room or the crow room. Both are mostly secluded. One of the managers , Carol, excels in hospitality as she will always take the time to not only fix a problem immediately but she just pops in and checks in. It is very comfortable to feel welcomed and when it's time to leave I look forward untill the next trip."
